The worst customer service experienced in Nelson yet. Unacceptable service consistent with every visit here. The employees couldn’t be doing a worse job at even trying to act like they want to assist their customers. While I waited to sort out an issue, I watched customer after customer get such pathetic service that it was actually shocking. The staff acted inconvenienced by each of these customers’ simple requests. One particular fellow actually sighed at an elderly man for asking for help with choosing ear buds and acting extremely rude for the entire interaction. The man was beside himself but remained polite. He also followed no social distancing protocols with customers. The staff stare at the customers coming in, looking at one another waiting for somebody to step up to help the customer, instead of asking how they can assist you - they do not acknowledge until a customer asks for help. I repeatedly watched around 3 customers get frustrated for getting zero assistance and one left the store. They were not busy. I should also mention that I was set up with a completely wrong device on our plan and charged for it for 4 months (tablet setup instead of a cellular setup for an Apple Watch for several months). Turns out the previous employee “messed up” and they couldn’t do anything about it, no credit, and not even in-store credit despite the employee stating that this was a big screw up on behalf of their colleague. How is that acceptable? Instead, they blamed Bell and said there wasn’t much they could do. So I guess I have to pay $85 because their employee set up a non-existing tablet on my account.    Read moreI went to upgrade my phone at the Best Buy in Nelson, BC. I got a brand new “fancy” iPhone 15. Everything went fine for a day, but then all of a sudden my front camera stopped working. I went back the next day to get a different phone, but after spending 4 hours trying to get the new one sorted, it stopped working. I went back a third time to get a THIRD new phone. The staff at Best Buy was so helpful, patient and felt awful for how poorly Apples product had been working. This is not a Best Buy issue, this is an Apple issue and they need to address this. Their products have gone downhill, while prices rise. I do not recommend iPhone 15. Maybe for my next phone I’ll Switch to Samsung! If you have any tech needs, go to Best Buy. Great friendly staff. The store manager, Kai was googling how to resolve my issues, and him and his staff spent probably a total of 7 + hours over the 3 days helping me get my iPhones sorted. Boo apple, hurray...
