Byrd's (Lisa is the person I communicated with) were very helpful and supportive to our family in a very difficult situation. We recently lost a brother who lived in Vancouver (we live in Ontario) and we had to arrange for the removal of all the contents of his apartment. I had contacted a few junk removal companies but was so impressed with Lisa, I went no further. After discussing the horror of the situation they would have to deal with, she made me feel quite comfortable with knowing what they had to deal with (the apartment was in a horrific state), then proceeded to make all the arrangements with Property Management for access. They were incredibly responsive and were able to conduct their work in exactly the limited time frame we had. Following that, she sent detailed pictures of the site after they had completed their work (we had already returned to Ontario) which showed the extent to which they had gone to remove every single thing. We are so grateful to this family for their assistance and for making this difficult and emotional challenge so much...

I contacted Byrd's Disposal after researching them online. They had many 5* reviews and I was quickly contacted by Lisa after leaving a message regarding construction garbage pick up. I'm from Ontario and required the pick up in North Vancouver. Lisa and Simon came the day after I called to request their services - they ended up taking two loads away when only one was planned for - it was scorching hot that day and they just kept going and going until everything was loaded. Lisa was amazing to deal with on the phone and she and Simon loaded everything together onto the truck - they even swept the garage and driveway when they were done. They make a great team and were so pleasant to deal with. I contacted them a second time, several months after the previous pick up and again, they came the next day and this time, the cold, rainy weather didn't deter them. We live in a boat access only community up Indian Arm. Junk removal is a real hassle and tide dependant. Byrds disposal have been very accommodating for our needs. Super early mornings and always on time. Friendly service and very hard working couple. Fair up front pricing for the removal or garbage, drywall, appliances, you name it...
