Ok one huge thing you need to know about this lovely local pizza place BEFORE you order. We did not do this and didn’t realise until we read a review on here from a chap who says the same thing, then we read the flyer on the box which we thought was just another flyer, it’s not! You need to cook your pizza for an additional few minutes in your own oven before eating. The pizza here is cooked not in an oven but on conveyor rack, like the toasters you get in hotels. Therefore the crust will seem undercooked. As the photo shows the inside of our crust was almost raw due to this cooking process. So heat your oven up before ordering then whack it in the oven when you get home. This really should have been mentioned when we collected. That said. This place has wonderful service, really friendly and welcoming and the 16inch pepperoni was very flavourful and delicious, so know doubt when finished in an oven it will be super.

I have been a customer for 10 years in various locations in North Vancouver and at one time on Denman street too. Right now they are next to Queens Cross pub on Queens and Lonsdale. The pizzas here are a thin crust made with whole-wheat flour and have gf options available. Within the next few weeks as of Aug19, Andy, the Patron showed me the new menu with exciting options reflecting regional differences in North American pizzas. Watch this space. There will also be integration with all the 3rd party delivery options. E.G. Uber eats.

Our first vegan pizza! Ordering pick up freshness, all OnPoint, and excellent! Large was a lot for two people but we managed! :-) Even Fleckie had a look :-) This place seems to have two names so for a moment the pick up was a little confusing. Kind of wondered why a place called the rebellious tomato didn’t have tomatoes on the pizza… anyway we will add to that NEXT TIME.

I’ve been to Rebellious Tomato twice now and it’s been a few years since I first ordered. I thought I’d give them a second chance after my first regrettable order. The pizza itself isn’t bad, it is very soft for thin crust pizza in my opinion and also slightly undercooked but this all makes sense after finding out it’s cooked on a convor belt like a fast food chain. What really bothered me is how the 1 suboptimal pizza with delivery came to $35, I’d understand this price from a higher end nepolitan style pizza place but rebellious tomato is not that type of pizza shop. They are more comparable to frozen pizza since they both require you to reheat your pizza in the oven and then cut it yourself (they actually specify on the box to do this).

If you want good pizza at a fair price on upper Lonsdale go across the street to djj’s. They are pound for pound a...

One of my favourite pizza places. There used to be one in Vancouver close to my house, so we would go there a lot as a family. Although that location is closed now, we often stop at the North Van location when driving through.

Their pizza has flavourful sauce, and is the only thin crust pizza I have had without the crust getting oily/burnt. Delicious!

The reason I did not give five stars is because: -The restaurant itself is small so there is not room inside for bigger groups, and also is not air conditioned. -The gluten-free crusts are small as they are most likely pre-made.

However, everything...
