I didn't like anything about it. I went there today to get a nice sandwich for my self with two other thirteen year old friends. I went there asking for a foot long Turkey Breast sandwich. The server then gave me a chicken breast sandwich. I immediately knew the sandwich was not right and I told them that it was wrong politely. One older Indian male then was very rude to me. Practically forcing me to buy it. He sat me down saying that children in Africa are starving and I said that "its my money, I can choose to spend it or not." He then said he couldn't put it away and was very controlling. He then locked the doors when I was trying to leave because I didn't want to buy anything. He stood in front of me not allowing me to leave. He locked the door, stood guard in front of it only letting my friend who bought one before this incident leave. He forced me to buy the sandwich. Once I bought it I left immediately. I felt very controlled and this man was very rude, another worker even said "Shut up" to my friend who was trying to help me. He kept on saying I was wrong about the selection of the sandwich which I was not. I asked for a turkey breast not a chicken breast which costs like buck more. I feel he doesn't deserve to serve people anymore if this is how he treated customers. This is a free country. I can buy something or not buy something if I want. I do not know the laws of controlling children but I am pretty sure you cannot force a 13 year old boy to buy something he doesn't want to. People like this don't deserve to help people. Scare people. I wasn't rude or anything like that. My friends and I will never go there again. This was a very disappointing, and controlling, experience on what should've been a...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I were on the way to capilano suspension bridge while visiting from NY. We stopped by this subway which looked like a hole in the wall amongst a few little storefronts in a sad little strip mall. We weren't expecting much from the outside but what a different story when we walked in.
We were very impressed with how clean this subway was! The seating area, the bathroom, behind the counter..even when we walked in the only worker there, an Asian man named Joe, was cleaning behind the counter. He politely took our order and was very friendly. But what impressed me even more was that before he put on the gloves to start making our sandwiches, he took the time to thoroughly wash his hands with soap and water.
Not only was he very clean but the cold cuts, tomatoes, lettuce and other fix-ins were so fresh and this was at about 3:30pm. The bread was not stale and the sandwich he made me was delicious. He even commented how he had never made a sandwich like mine and thought it was a good sandwich. Joe was so friendly and proud to keep his store in this great condition. If only more subway restaurants could be like this I'd eat...
Read moreI have been eating here for over two years off and on. It's generally very good, except for one staff member in particular - Kelly. She consistently throws things on the sandwich with no regard for the idea that somebody will actually try to eat it. This is the fifth or sixth time I can barely eat a sandwich because it just falls all over the place. I usually try to avoid her but something needs to be done as she makes this a very...
