Countrytime Furniture & Home Decor — Local services in Ontario

My husband and I purchased bedroom furniture from Countrytime Furniture & Home Decor this summer and we are beyond happy with it!!

QUALITY The quality and style of the furniture is top notch! We were able to customize the fabric, wood stain and type of finish. This resulted in finding exactly what we had hoped for. It is beautiful furniture that will last us for many many years. We also purchased the mattress (So comfy) and mattress cover. They had everything we needed. We were confident in the quality of all of our purchases.

SALES PEOPLE Countrytime staff never pressured us to make our decision. We don't like to rush when making a big furniture purchase so as not to be disappointed with our final choices. We did however have another furniture store salesperson pressure us to decide by that night or the quote would be higher. There was none of that at Countrytime. During this process we were helped by Herm (Sales Associate) Michael (Service Manager), Amy (Sales Associate & Ortenzio (General Manager). They were all very helpful, patient and always had a smile. It turned out we spent most of our time working with Michael who was AWESOME! Thanks for all you did for us Michael!! Thanks to you all for your help. It was a memorable experience and when we need additional furniture we will be stopping into Countrytime!

DELIVERY FEE It is our experience that many businesses these days charge a fee to deliver your purchase. We live in Kingston and it always seems chintzy to have a charge for delivery when you live 5 minutes from where you made your purchase. Countrytime let us know right up front that they would not charge us for delivery. That is a nice touch when you are making a large purchase. It's not a lot of money but it feels like a warm hug of thanks for taking your business to Countrytime Furniture!! The delivery people were great. They unpacked and set up our furniture...

Good selection of mid to higher end furniture. A fairly large selection of dining room and bedroom model suite on display. Watch for their sales (often in the spring) for discounts on floor models. They have a reasonable delivery charge and cover a wide area. We live within 7km and they offered us free delivery (we had to wait an extra couple days - bought on a Monday, had the sofa and chairs in the house by Thursday evening). Prices are average for higher end furniture (a little less than James Reid for the pieces we bought). They will negotiate price on a multi piece purchase, we saved about 12% on three new pieces. This is not a budget furniture store (quality is much higher than Bad Boys or Brick). I would recommend if you are looking for good quality (often Canadian) furniture. We have just made a major furniture purchase at Countrytime and would totally recommend them. We have bought from them previously and had no hesitation in going back. Their product selection is excellent, but what sets them apart is their staff. Everyone we have dealt with has been super knowledgeable, helpful and very patient during multiple visits while we made our selection. They are not "pushy" but take the time to explain the products and the very flexible customization options, and they genuinely want to make sure the customer is happy.
