Olde Tyme Candy Shoppe Radium — Local services in Radium Hot Springs

Decent selection...but most of the candy (spent $40) was old, hard and stale.

I think that's the reason you can mix any of the selections in most of the bins for the same price....because they need to get rid of it but are too cheap to toss it... and most people are just passing through anyways and won't notice until it's too late (like us.)

Fyi- those reading reviews....notice the same theme reoccurring from other reviews...?! "Old" Tyme Candy owner....you may want to taste your candy and start tossing expired ones...and not just the ones in some of your bins..see pic.

The chocolate gummy bears on the counter are yummy though.

This is a rotten store who sells expired and stale candy to little kids. Someone needs to shut this place down.

Our family got almost $30 of candy and drove back to Canmore on vacation. We were shocked to see every candy bag was expired several years ago and were hard as a rock....

I have informed the Canadian authorities about this place.

FYI, we are from the US and simply wish to remain anonymous. We have nothing personal against the owner or store as the owner has implied below...just EXPIRED merchandise being...

Stopped to check out this candy store on Main Street in Radium to find an extensive range of sweets to choose from according to one's preference; coming from England it was a nostalgic trip down memory lane to find such a wide range but no TOPIC chocolate bar which most likely is discontinued as unable to find even on a recent trip to England! Bought some dolly mixture and salty liquorice from Europe which the server informed me was not to his taste and that's fair enough as its an acquired taste and...
