SmartCentres Richmond — Local services in Richmond

Nice, new mall with a decent variety of businesses. My only complaint is that with all the cars, it is not a very safe mall to access on foot, particularly when you have to cross the roads. There are plenty of sidewalks, and stop signs, but many drivers seem to be confused, or impatient, and are reluctant to stop and wait for pedestrians. I also regularly see food delivery vehicles parked in the driving lanes with their hazard lights on, while they grab there food, causing...

Good size Walmart and variety of nearby shops and restaurants. Parking is limited and can have a traffic jam during peek hours. Covered parking spots near entrance is limited while uncovered stalls do require a walk to the entrances. Walmart has two floors but accessibility is poor. The escalator is frequently not operating (both main entrance and in-store) while the elevator is very slow moving and has a lineup when the escalator is not working and social distancing...

Parking is not an issue if you head to the far East side of the Walmart lot. This place has picked up in foot traffic over the last couple of years. Some good restaurants makes it a pretty good place to drop in on weekends. Note that if you get here after 2pm it can get very busy esp close to holidays like Christmas, Lunar...
