My review is strictly based on today July 18, 2024 at approximately 3:52pm. I got off work at 3:30pm. Went to the gas station approximately 3:45. I googled search the nearest health clinic cause I knew they close either at 4pm or 5pm So time is ticking. My daughter's doctor clearly said, "I can go into ANY Vancouver Coastal Clinic and ask for an urinal sampler container." So that's exactly what I did at this location. As I quickly went up the stairs. I was greeted nicely by this lovely receptionist. I nicely greeted back. She then said, "how may I help you?" I said, I would like an empty urinal sampler so I can take home for my daughter's urinal sample. The receptionist then had this weird look on her. Hesitated like "ahhh ok." Then she SAID, "who asked you to do this?" I'm like family doctor. She then said who's doctor? I said, "my daughter's family doctor!" As I was saying this she handed me the urinal sampler container. I said thanks, turn my body around facing the exit. That's when I heard a mumble from her "oh that's weird." I turned around at the exit door said out loud MY DOCTOR told me and SAID IM ALLOW TO ask for urinal container at any clinic. The Caucasian receptionist kinda shook her head to her other female colleagues all sitting around getting ready to get off work. Maybe because lately I've tanned my body really dark, wore shorts and a tank top with messy hair. She might of thought I'm homeless or?? By her ending gesture, facial expression and mumbling words as I walked away it was straight up RUDE!!! She could've EASILY asked do you have a form? Which I did on my phone and I could've shown her that. But she never asked for anything. My doctor said I can go into any clinic and ask for a urinal container. Now I've been to this clinic few times in the past and I had no problems. Friendly service from start to end. I actually live steps away from this clinic. Photo...
Read moreI liked this place! I had never had any good or even close to decent experience from going into Canadian health clinics or hospitals until I came to this place. Even though there was some hiccup, the whole experience was so much better than any of the other clinics and hospitals I've been to in Canada before. It felt like they were working efficiently (although there was a hiccup where they forgot to put me in the waiting list and I had to wait extra hour), and the doctor seemed like she actually cared about my wellbeing unlike the other Canadian doctors I've met. Usually when I go into a Canadian hospital, the doctors and staff are so grumpy and want you to get out of their face so badly that it makes me worried even more about their professionalism/ability to do the correct work and my health. But when I went into this clinic, none of that happened. when I left this clinic and got the answer from the doctor I felt so much relieved and didn't doubt anything about their professionalism. I will probably go back there again if something happens and I need to...
Read moreToday I went to this clinic because I accidentally dropped a hard object on my toe and I lost a whole piece of nail. Instead of letting me wait in the clinic for hours, the nurse gave me an ETA and let me leave the clinic for a while. When the doc had to remove the gauze, it hurt so bad that I screamed uncontrollably. The docs and nurses understood I was in pain that they were so caring and empathic during the whole process. I really appreciate their kindness and...
