I live near this Tims location, and it’s right beside the bus stop that I use to get to work and back home. I started going here a few months ago. I normally come in during the times when there is no rush at around 6-7am. Though the food is great, the service has been inconsistent.
There have been several times where I’d place an order in store for a couple of wraps and a hot coffee. Small line-up in store and in the drive-thru. I’d receive my order either right away or within 7-15 minutes. In most cases, it’s been the latter.
There would also be times I would place an online order for ASAP, arrive at the store within 5-10 minutes, and I would receive my order after I check in with staff (which I don’t think I should be doing anyways if it’s already paid) and wait for 10 minutes, even if it’s not busy inside or there is a small drive-thru line-up.
I had an incident where I placed an order 10 minutes prior to arriving to the store. I noticed that my food and drink weren’t ready, despite having no line in store and a small line in the drive-thru. I checked in with a staff member at the counter and I chatted with a friend while I waited. I ended up receiving my order 25 minutes later. I asked why it took so long and the staff gave me attitude and told me that I didn’t specifically check in with a different worker in a condescending tone.
There are more situations that have happened, but these stick out to me. I have my experiences dated and timed as well - partly so I know I’m not going crazy.
Don’t get me wrong. Some days are great, but the bad days are trumping the good days at this point. If it continues to stay inconsistent like this, I’d be forced to go to the Circle K around the corner for $1.5 coffee and it’s instant, and I really don’t...

That took like 10 minutes to figure out. then i felt like there was a language barrier and I tried so hard to be patient. But I was trying to order things and how rude she was getting , I had to walk out . She made me cry and really upset me and then realized my friends order wasn't what she wanted or ordered. So we went back and tried to talk to her , she purposely kept ignoring me for like another 10 minutes and my friend had to chip in and say she's trying to order again. That girl walked away after bring more rude and the glares and the whispers among the staff were not professional at all or not patient. I at one point ordered my hot coffee with 3 sugars and my shot of caramel. She knew I needed to catch that next bus too, and I swear kept messing around on purpose. She at first made a iced coffee ( not what i ordered,) and nicely tried to re-order my coffee. The next coffee had a bunch of cream and no sugar. I kept repeating my easy coffee order and wouldn't listen or try i felt. It took 4 times to make a coffee? ? Like I'm sooo disappointed in Tim's there and may not go back. The disrespect from the staff and attitude was uncalled for and was trying so hard not to let the staff get under my skin bad enough and snap and overreact. Unfortunately, we've had consistently negative experiences during these visits, primarily due to an employee named Dariel who works during those hours. We have encountered several issues during our visits: Product Availability: Dariel often informs us that certain items, such as quenchers, cappuccino, timbits, and muffins, are unavailable, which is disappointing as we enjoy trying a variety of items on the menu. Quality of Hot Coffee: When we order hot coffee, it's frequently served lukewarm or cold, and it seems that the coffee isn't properly stirred, affecting its taste and overall quality. Refund Processing: On one occasion, we requested a refund due to a service issue, but the refund process was not handled correctly, and we have yet to receive the refund amount. However, it's important to note that there are days when a different lady is working during the same shift, and her service is excellent. She consistently provides us with high-quality coffee and a more positive overall experience. We visit Tim Hortons to unwind and refresh after work, but unfortunately, these recurring issues with service have left us feeling unsatisfied.
