Service: friendly, a bit slow at times.

Food: what we ordered Fish Tikka - it was dry, a grilled fish, seasoning was good. Came with French fries which we thought was weird for the cuisine. Vegetable Biryani - packed with pieces of carrots and potatoes, very flavorful and moist. A great choice Shrimp Masala - delicious, this sauce was sooooo good, flavorful with tomatoes and spices, slightly sweet and salty. We kept going back for more, trying to soak up the sauce with our naan. I usually hate green peppers but these peppers were perfectly cooked and I really enjoyed it. Channa Masala - excellent sauce and flavor, a great balance of spices. Chick peas were soft and perfectly cooked. Naan - soft outer edges, chewy/crisp middle, you can see a chef making them through a glass window, it’s nice to know how fresh they are.

Our dishes came with salad, it’s just a romaine lettuce and dressing, my only issue was that each of our dishes (3 people) came with salad, and they gave us one small salad on a plate. It wasn’t really 3 portions and it seemed too small.

This is a sit down place but there was lots of people coming in for take out. I recommend calling...

I was in the area unexpectedly and remembered there was a Tandoori place around here, wasn't thinking of this one but am VERY pleased I ended up here (it ended up being an amazing if unintended Thanksgiving Dinner for me). The place looks like it may have been a KFC in a previous life but don't let that put you off, the food and service were both 7 star (it's a shame Google doesn't allow bonus stars).

The service from Isha was incredibly hospitable and helpful as well as accommodating (when I was debating between Shrimp Jalfrazi or Shrimp Masala and asked which was spicier and had more gravy she said they can make either spicy and with more gravy..I opted for Jalfrazi..a good choice..and when I wanted to spice up the jalfrazi even more since I'm a chillihead..she brought plenty of extra hot green chillies from kitchen).

The Jalfrazi was outstanding as was the fresh hot naan (meal served with salad and Raita) and serving was larger than expected.

I will definitely be back (want to try the chicken kebabs) and highly recommend this place! My thanks to Isha and the chef(and other...

My parents and I have been going to Tandoori Time since the mid-2000s. It was one of the first spots we had discovered after moving to Toronto. The combo for 2 would always satisfy the three of us; not to mention the amazing price for so many dishes all at once. I always remember the food quality to be the absolute best. We went back many years later due to moving away from the area, and we were nervous about whether or not things would be the same...it's safe to say that Tandoori Time still remains my all-time favourite Indian restaurant: for the price and the same quality of food that it continues to put out after many years. The combo for 2 still satisfies the three of us. The lamb biryani is some of the best; the beef kebabs are so tender; the chicken karahi is the best I have had; the naan is always warm and soft. I cannot stress enough how much I love this place. The last time we were there, Simran took great care of us as our server. Thank you for remaining authentic and delicious after all of these years – we cannot wait to come back for...

We are lucky that we’ve found this place! We live a bit far from the restaurant location and we ended up craving South Asian food really late at night, and this place had dine-in open till 10:30 pm. The ambiance was great and lively, the staff who greeted us, Raghav, was really friendly. They have good combos on the menu consisting of chicken, lamb and beef, their menu is Halal. We ordered the combo for 2 (includes Naan, Biriyani, 1 curry item and beef skewers), which is priced at 34+, but had enough food for 3 person. Raghav was really nice and graciously accepted our modification requests. The food was really tasty, the beef skewers, although came in a bit late due to a miscommunication, was really juicy and tender. The chicken karahi was perfectly cooked. The only item which probably had some room for improvement was the chicken biriyani, was a bit bland for our spice choice. We ended our night with a cup of masala tea. All in all, this was a great experience! We will definitely be back! Shoutout to another staff, Riya, for the nice chat!

I went here for a spontaneous lunch with a friend and I must say, for a last minute option I wasn’t expecting much, but I was completely impressed by this restaurant. The restaurant is a medium sized with ample seating area. The waiter was very cordial and sat us promptly and our order was taken in less than 10 minutes. I had the chicken shawarma curry with naan and my friend another chicken curry with rice. We ordered our curry with medium spiciness and we were not disappointed. The dishes were savoury and balanced. The heat from the green peppers was nicely balanced out with the savouriness of the curry. The naan was one the best restaurant made naan I have tasted. My only complaint was the rice portion was a little small and I wish I had more than 1 naan for an entire entree. Otherwise, the service, the dishes and the atmosphere was nice. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch and would recommend this restaurant. I would most likely visit again.
