A truly enjoyable dispensing experience =) I've gone 3 times, and each time everything has been in good order.
Clean and sanitary; important for a picky smoker like me who can taste the slightest molecule of a foreign body lmao.
It's hard to actually know WHAT EXACTLY is available at a given time, but the staff is so friendly and efficient in helping you/ answering any questions that you have, that I can't really dock them for it. It would just be nice to have a digital menu or something (and frankly, as a tip, it would improve your client flow, and in exchange, boost revenue; without compensating quality of services or goods. But what do I know :)
Prices are fairly standard of what I would expect from a Toronto based dispensary; some things are slightly cheaper, but not too a degree worth highlighting (~5%-10% cheaper MAX; and not generally speaking)
Quality is what makes this a 5 star establishment in my eyes (I would give a 4.7-4.8 if I could; but you don't even know how big of a compliment that is coming from me ahaha). I am always delighted with the quality of their products in general, but their flowers are 100% grown with mad love and patience; it shows in how their plants show 0 of the many many many signs of being stressed out (only place I've found, in all of North America [I haven't been too the N/W U.S. [California, yes] and West Coast Canada] that haven't given me flower, with tiny tiny tiny premature seeds that I don't think 90% of people notice, but I see and taste).
So high-fives all around for the CAFE team, coming from a pharmacology/ Bio-chem dork, a connoisseur of the Cannabis plant (not stroking my ego, just FYI),as well as a man with an eye for business, detail, and the bigger picture. You put in good work guys =)
P.S. Let me know if you want my resume =) I'd love to be in the position to help people, as that's what I'm already in trained for (Registered Pharmacy Technician; basically what you do, but with thousands of drugs lol), but would put me in a position where I can advise people much more liberally, and educate those who want to be educated too the extent a buisness such as your should be capable of providing (but you guys aren't, and that's 0 dissing, I'm sure you're already aware of this). My mother, only knowing what she does/ seeing what she has because of my need for it in managing my chronic pain, was visually dumbfounded and clueless as to where to even begin looking when she went in there; and questions she asked were only able to be answered by me.
Love, respect, and best wishes...
Read moreThis afternoon around 2pm I was at the store, as I mentioned in my previous complaint that the woman who served me on April 27, 2021 she was forcing me to deliver at home. This is I am/was uncomfortable for the delivery with them at my home [also reason that I had huge surgeries on my leg this year and go out for change as I stay 24/7 at home]. When I was there the security guy told me they could not serve in the car. You have to be in a wheelchair or you have to walk at our store doorstep. I started walking in my home 2week ago as some time also this kind of emergency/forced arrived then I walked with crutches with a huge challenge. When I walked to the store' doorsteps as I met and spoke about my accident to this same security guy in the past I told him if you guys do not serve an accessible person at the car then who will assist us, Police? Well that same woman start recorded a video. So I did whatever I could manage with my disability. However, at the Human Rights Tribunal I will request the owner and neighboring owners' cameras for the recorded incident that, How they forced me to walk to their doorstep and deny selling me marijuana. As well they made fun of my accessibility. After a few minutes that same woman was standing there and told me we will not serve you. I said why? Then, they started having fun with each other by saying “NO” to me. There was a guy named Kyle Vincent (if he gave me a right name and number) who was telling me he is a vendor and trying to sell me some pipe. I asked, ``Would you be my witness? He said yes and gave me his number as well I gave him my number. When I walked to the car they sent this vendor guy to harass me and tortured me. He started taking video of my car parked not appropriately ect. Please note: Next week I am filing a complaint at the “Human Rights Tribunal”. If any Human Right lawyer wanted to aid me please contact me too. I was deny and humiliated me coz of my disability after walking to the doorsteps of store. The owner responding with a story stating order from home? As soon as I file complaint at the HRTO- I will post the file number as seems the owner do not want to maintain worthy of discipline and our dignity as accessibility are our biggest challenge in our daily...
Read moreBeen a customer at Cafe for years and today for the first time I had a really bad experience with a staff member. Usually service is awesome and friendly and the product is always good.. however, being a cannabis user and a female one at that, it was always intimidating for me to walk into a dispensary, especially back when I didn’t really know what i liked or what to order, Cafe made me feel comfortable and welcomed every time, today was a huge disappointment . Ive been using cannabis long enough now and know exactly what I like and have questions about what I order : The budtender seemed annoyed with my questions, probably because he couldn’t answer them ( he didnt seem too keen to find out for me either.. which btw was just asking if the hybrid was sativa or indica dominant..... i feel like this is basic knowledge and if you dont have the answer you can just search it bro.. no need to be angry about it) . I smiled, made eye contact (tried) said please and thank you 100 times but this dude treated me like i was just some dumb girl who doesn’t know what shes doing. He proceeded to put my payment through and was moping back and forth with the machine (zero sense of urgency or customer service) apparently the computer was having issues but he failed to tell me that so it looked like he was just standing there doing absolutely nothing ( he was also high AF and could barely make a sentence everytime he spoke) so i asked “is anything wrong?” To which he replied “no” so i said “ok, can I have my weed then hahah?”- thinking he was so spaced out he forgot to hand me my order.. (its happened many times before with other high budtenders) and thats when he decided to tell me that the receipt wasn’t printing and asked if i wanted it in a very condescending way , i said no thank you and he basically brushed me off and essentially was just wanting me to walk away , he was also ignoring me when i tried to let him know that he was being unnecessarily rude. I hope that Cafe will continue to hire staff that are willing to provide customer service to their patrons with respect, a more positive attitude and in a much more professional manner.. if you want to be high at work, at least make sure you can still...
