The mezzanine provides a unique vantage point to enjoy the buzz of the restaurant, while the patio offers a refreshing outdoor experience, especially on game days.
The service at Hunter's Landing is impeccable, adding to the overall positive experience. The service staff are not only pleasant and accommodating but also incredibly helpful, ensuring that every need is met with a friendly smile. The menu at Hunter’s Landing is impressively diverse, catering to a wide range of tastes and preferences. Our meal began with a selection of starters ideal for sharing. The trio dip, a delightful combination of goat cheese, roasted red pepper dip, and eggplant dip, was a standout. Served with non-focaccia and corn chips, it was the perfect way to whet our appetites. The nachos were equally satisfying, generously topped with all the classic fixings, making them a must-have for any group.
For those who enjoy a bit of heat, the Landing Wings are a highlight. Available in BBQ and pepper lime flavors, these wings strike a perfect balance of tangy and spicy, making them a crowd-pleaser. Each bite was succulent, leaving us eager to try more from their extensive menu.
One of the more unique offerings is the Moroccan Curry Chicken. This dish features a blend of North African spices with almond butter, served alongside perfectly cooked basmati rice and grilled non. The rich and aromatic flavors are a testament to the restaurant’s ability to offer something different yet delicious.
The Naan-Chicken Club is another favorite, featuring a marinated chicken breast paired with bacon, cucumber, and tomato, all complemented by a raita vinaigrette. It’s a refreshing take on the classic club sandwich that leaves a lasting impression.
The Fish Tacos, loaded with pineapple, slaw, avocado, and cheddar, offer a tropical twist that is both light and flavorful.
However, the star of the menu has to be the Jam and Cheddar Burger. This burger is a symphony of flavors, with the sweetness of bacon jam perfectly offsetting the sharpness of cheddar. It’s highly recommended to get an extra side of bacon jam, as it truly elevates the burger to an unforgettable experience.
Overall, Hunter’s Landing stands out not just for its convenient location near the Rogers Centre but for its commitment to providing a premium dining experience. Whether you're there to watch a game or enjoy a meal with friends, the inviting atmosphere, impeccable service, and expansive menu ensure there’s something for everyone. Read moreWent here for my birthday with 10 other guests. The night started alright…I wasn’t greeted when I entered nor was I told by staff where my party table was located, whatever I figured it out not a big deal. Me & my guests spent a total of approx. 4 hours at this location. Myself & each of my guests had a total of 2 drinks each, most of which we had to go to the bar & order because our waiter was never attending to us. Our waiter was okay to begin with but then became very aggressive & rude the more we had to deal with him. He had no manners & was quite rude to my guests & me. I had a drunk person from another table throw up all over the floor next to me including the door. I had to once again get up to go find a staff member to get someone to clean it as the smell was horrible and we had just received our food, so there goes our appetite. Someone finally came to mop up the floor and clean the door but oddly enough when we asked her to open the door to air out the awful smell of the puke the staff member placed her hands on the door which was covered in puke and then decided to wipe her hands on her pants which was disgusting to say the least. The service from all staff members especially Tyrell & another guy, blonde guy with tattoos, was very poor & disappointing. Tyrell telling my guests that he “doesn’t have time for this” like what? Is this not your job? To serve guests? I was very shocked at the lack of respect, service & manners from the staff members. Also as the birthday girl I tried to order what would of been my 3rd drink only to wait a full hour and still not receive my drink, instead I asked for my bill as clearly we were not a priority to be served. The fact that staff were asking my guests to tip them on top of the gratuity tip that was already included in all of our bills was ridiculous in itself…..but considering our service & experience for the 4 hours that we spent here I wasn’t even surprised anymore at the poor service. I was really looking forward to having a good time here with all of my guests for the night but instead of waiting for all my remaining 7 guests to join us we decided to leave & go to another location nearby to finish our night with better service. I’m truly disappointed in my birthday experience with this location after being recommended this location by a couple friends. This experience was a joke to be honest. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Worst restaurant experience & worst birthday...
Read moreI recently dined here and unfortunately had one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had in Toronto. When we first walked in, the hostess was immediately dismissive. I asked if there was a table for four and she just said “no.” I had to follow up myself to ask about wait times before she told us it’d be 15–20 minutes.
We decided to wait since the patio was dog-friendly. While sitting outside, we saw another couple get seated, have their table cleaned, and be given menus—meanwhile, we were still waiting for a text to be notified of a free table. When we asked if we could just dine at the table we were already sitting at, the hostess responded with attitude and was unnecessarily rude. My whole table noticed it.
It took another 10 minutes before we got menus and water. We placed our order, but didn’t receive our food for over an hour. We ordered while the sun was still up and got our food when it was dark. During this time, another couple sat near us and ended up leaving before even ordering—one of them literally wished us luck with getting our meal.
Despite the slow service, it didn’t seem busy at all. There were so many free tables and we saw the servers/ hostess standing near the hostess stand chatting and sipping their drink. When I tried waving one down, she made eye contact and turned away, maybe because it wasn’t her table. Our server wasn’t friendly either—until it was time to pay. She tossed the dog menu on our table and, when we asked for extra napkins because someone had spilled ketchup on the floor near us, she just pulled the ones from under our cutlery and handed them over without a word.
The food didn’t make up for it either. Sweet potato fries were soggy, steak was bland, and the jus was so salty it was hard to eat. There was nothing that was particularly good or even balanced.
I wouldn’t recommend this place for either the service or the food. Wish I had read the reviews beforehand—some were really concerning, including one about someone finding a blade in their food. Honestly not sure how this place is...
