I have had the pleasure of shopping at Laborde Jewelry in places all over this world including Morocco, Jamaica, around Ontario and now on line as the brand flourishes out of Costa Rica. This brings me joy as I can relate to each piece I own as having a story; being influenced and inspired by different cultures and places. Kristen, the designer, is passionate about her creations and the uplifting energy they hold when worn in accessorizing your daily life. When I shop in person and most recently on Instagram, I'm excited at how each piece will uniquely enhance my outfits with that extra touch of sparkle and style. I have to happily admit, that the majority of my jewelry is from Laborde Jewelry. Kristens style and variety really compliments my style and what I like. Her beaded bracelets are probably my fave as I wear them in bulk and we call it the 'Arm Party'. Kristen has made me many adjustments in longer necklaces or a wider bracelets. Her attention to customer needs is 5 star, hence me being addicted to her brass and beaded treasures. She has made custom pieces for my bf who wears some pretty unique pieces for his band performances. Kristen's social media is always up to date as she is constantly creating new treasures. Kristen Laborde, the woman who runs this company, stole my $40 ring. After it broke (mere months after purchasing), I asked her if she would fix it. It was a simple soldering job. She agreed, and I sent her the ring as well as a pre-paid envelope to return it to me. After weeks of unanswered e-mail correspondence (me, asking about the status of the ring), I finally gave up and asked her to at least return it, even if it was still broken. She never responded.
