A Hidden Gem of Convenience and Quality - Lucky Moose Food Mart Shines! I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lucky Moose Food Mart on Dundas Street West in Toronto, and I must say, it has quickly become my go-to spot for all my grocery needs. This place truly embodies convenience, quality, and exceptional service, making it a hidden gem in the heart of the city.

First and foremost, Lucky Moose Food Mart offers a plethora of service options to cater to every customer's preference. Whether you prefer the traditional in-store shopping experience or the convenience of having your groceries delivered right to your doorstep, they have you covered. The flexibility they offer is simply commendable.

When it comes to accessibility, Lucky Moose Food Mart goes above and beyond to accommodate all customers. The wheelchair-accessible entrance and parking lot make it easy for individuals with mobility challenges to navigate the store comfortably. It's refreshing to see a business that values inclusivity and makes a genuine effort to create a welcoming environment for everyone.

One aspect that impressed me was the range of payment options available. Lucky Moose Food Mart understands the importance of convenience in today's fast-paced world. They accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and even NFC mobile payments. This level of flexibility ensures a seamless and hassle-free checkout process, which is greatly appreciated.

Now, let's talk about the real star of the show - the quality of products. Lucky Moose Food Mart boasts an extensive selection of fresh produce, pantry staples, and specialty items that cater to diverse culinary preferences. The attention to detail in curating their inventory is evident, as I found everything I needed and more. The produce section was particularly impressive, showcasing vibrant and top-notch fruits and vegetables.

Lastly, I must acknowledge the exceptional service provided by the friendly and knowledgeable staff at Lucky Moose Food Mart. They are always ready to assist and offer recommendations, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes every visit a delightful experience.

This the third time, I bought their precooked meals and vegetables wrapped that I found a fruit flies inside wrapped together. I first told the cashier who I saw the day before to talk to the owner and tell them, I got some fried spicy tofu and beef at the back pre-made. It was the same cashier and she saw me bought it the day before. Other customers heard it too, I was telling her there are bugs inside the food I paid for. They never refunded me the money, which is fine. I’m a regular there. After showing them the photo on my phone. It was close to my house, that’s why I go there. But now it’s getting ridiculous. In the past I bought fried noodles, nothing. Now I bought some food is wrapped and still same problem. I will never ever buy wrapped food inside this store, because it has a history of fruit flies that they wrap together and it’s gross. If I heat it up in the microwave. The flies die together inside and I wouldn’t even know. That’s why I think I ate some nasty fruit flies with food here before and never knew. However I usually split it in my bowl first. Guys, if you shop here. Be careful what you buy and they don’t care of sanitation or hygiene. You will never get your money back with the receipt and food you present to them about the problem either. I gave them back the food physically and showed it. They just silence and didn’t do anything. What?? It’s just gross all together. The summer time, there is some sort of excuse because of the weather. Hello! It’s now October and it’s cold. How is it possible, there is still the same problem. I suspect I ate dead fruit flies in the microwave buying food here before. I’m so upset. I don’t know where they pack their food in this supermarket but it’s gross. I will never come here and buy any of their wrap food again. They don’t mark their food on the day they package it either. So you know when they made it and how long it’s been sitting there, you really have no clue what they are doing or it’s fresh. It’s...

If I could I would rate no star at all! Even though most of the cashiers showed no customer service to me over the past 4 years, but this time was the worst ever experience in my life! When the No.1 cashier was scanning my purchases, I found out she already scanned 2 bottles of milk but she somehow scanned one more bottle, I caught her, she removed it without saying any apologies! Moreover, I found out she charged me twice of asparagus after I made the payment. So I went back to her showing I got only one bunch of asparagus, turned out she was extremely rude and shouting to me: bring all you purchases back, I have to check everything! So she meant I was hiding the other one and trying to scam her? Unbelievable she made no apologies about her second mistake! And I had to drag over 235$ of food to another cashier to get my money back! So the fact was she should charge the broccoli but another asparagus! Was she blind? With the Covid-19 outbreak nowadays, I had to wait and argue with them for about 20mins with so many ppl passing by me! The manager refused to make apologies or offer anything complimentary to make me feel better. Instead they said ppl make mistakes, and I should check the receipt bla bla bla, if there is a mistake they will do the refund, so if I didn’t check again in the end, that would be my fault? And they are supposed to get more money from me without feeling illegal!? For the extra time here arguing without feeling appreciated or even respected as an old customer? I said Freshco give the goods for free if the make mistake of the price. The manager gave me a disgusting look and told me that they don’t have that policy and they don’t care if I will come back again. She said you can stop coming back then! Without any compensation, I asked her to make the first cashier to apologize to me but they just ignored... So you disgusting fellows felt so shame about your mistakes but to ask...

I go there almost every day, excellent place to get fresh fruit and they often have a really good variety, e.g. today I bought a watermelon in January! Wonderful to be able to get fresh fruit any time of the year. Excellent selection of fresh fruits and vegetables and cost effective as well, e.g. Quaker Oats is around $3 something, compared to $5 something at Longo's so it is priced competitively overall, but also right in the heart of downtown. Excellent accessibility by ramp. I have a disability (shoulder injury) and sometimes need a mobility aid to help carry heavy groceries like large watermelon. Lucky Moose Food Mart is accessible by mobility aid or by walker rollator, with a good sweeping curved ramp outside and a good ramp from main level to upper level.

Best place to get your meat and fish!!! My fiancé and I have searched for top quality meat and fish at a good, affordable price for a long time. This is the spot that delivers on everything we’ve been looking for! We are avid chick and salmon eaters and this place has amazing quality. It freezes really well and tastes just as fresh after being thawed like you just bought it same day! We shop here for all our protein needs and they also have an amazing section for produce! It’s all fresh and you can tell they put a lot of work into supplying the best produce they can get. Highly recommend this place if you’re on a budget but don’t want to skip out on the quality of food you’re buying!
