We went there around 8:30PM on Wednesday after AGO museum trip. 3 adults, 1 child and an infant. We were hungry. When you are hungry, anything would taste wonderful but this was not the case.

We ordered pork bone stew with rice (all day special $10), seafood pancake with chewy rice cake (all day special $10) and glass noodles with beef and veggies (regular menu ~$23) Price looked great but quality was bad.

Pork bone soup was the only okay acceptable item for our whole meal.

Glass noodles was heavy flavored. Personally, I think it’s too salty. It was about a hand sized plate portion for ~$23?! And it wasn’t even good.

Seafood pancake was literally an onion pancake. Mushy inside and bunch of onions. Approximately less than 10 squids(smaller than a fingertip size). Just squids, and no other seafoods. No chewy rice cakes at all! There was hair inside! One sorry from server and no compensations/ discounts/ another pancake at all. Chef told the server, demanding he had put rice cake and other seafood inside… very disappointed.

First time ever hearing Side dishes can only refill once and only 2 out of 5 varieties. Not generous at all. I.e. 5 honey soy sauce glazed potato bites for our table…

This whole experience is horrible. We will not return. It was inconvenient for us to carry stroller down the stairs.

To chef in this restaurant: if you think you have put rice cake and seafood inside the pancake, I think you are...

I felt unfairly treated. I asked for vegetarian food and after confirming with the server I ordered a bowl cold noodles. I even tried to confirm again when the server brought the food onto the table if the cold noodle soup is surely vegetarian. The soup looked to me like it had a layer of whitish color floating on the top. And he confirmed yes it was vegetarian. After a few sips of the soup I discovered a piece of meat in the bowl. I feel disgusted because I have been a strict vegetarian for years. I calmed myself down to the best way I could and showed it to the server and asked to change the dish to a pancake instead that was supposed to be also vegetarian. I know it probably wasn't entirely the server’s fault and I didn’t want to give him a hard time. But I would never go to that restaurant again. I would not recommend for any vegetarians to go. The restaurant will most likely respect you in other ways but they are careless in respecting your diet restrictions. I still feel upset about the incident. The staff probably didn't do it on purpose but they were surely careless. I do have a strict diet that's why I tried to confirm a few times if the food is vegetarian. And they still served me meat. I cannot imagine if someone has a food allergy what would have happened. The restaurant should really be more cautious and more considerate. Please respect other people’s diets and allergies....

We came to this causal Korean restaurant by AGO Chinatown area for dinner cuz we were craving for Korean food. They have a pretty big menu with hot soups, stir fry, rice, and some Lorena traditional appetizers dishes too. It has another location close to the Kensington area You can customize the level of spiciness for the soft tofu soup. Served with side kimchi dishes and a small bowl of rice on the side. Mine tasted pretty spicy so the flavour kind of disappeared a bit because of the spice. But I really liked that that had an option of + Dumplings, because it made the soup even more filling along with the rice and tofu! The Pork Bone Soup was pretty good, but I like the Owl of Minerva one better The spicy stir-fry rice cake surprised us because of the huge plate that it came in. Had a mix of veggies, glass noodles, and rice cakes were pretty soft but still had a nice chew I really liked their twist to the seafood Pancake by adding rice cake on top of it, it had a crispy shell on the outside but soft on the inside still. Spicy Soft Tofu Soup with Dumplings - $8.50 Seafood Pancake with Rice Cake - $6.95 Spicy Stir-fry Rice Cake - $7.95 Pork Bone Stew - $7.95

The foods is not really special compared to the other Korean restaurants. The taste of their foods/menu are just so so. This Ka Chi Restaurant is way more expensive than similar or other better Korean restaurants in Mississauga. The minimum price of one main course here is about $19.95 When we went there for dine in, there was no customer at all. So quiet. They also stated a mandatory service fees at their cashier desk. Minimum mandatory service fees are posted at the cashier desk as follow: 4 people = service fee must be 15% 6 people = service fee must be 18% 12 people = service fee must be 20% No matter how the service to the customer. Probably these service fees caused customers reluctant or avoid to dine in there. Also, Toronto is not friendly city with customers who live far, since everywhere you park your car for whatever reasons, you have to pay and worry about parking fees, if you don't want to get parking ticket. Parking fee is $3.50 per hour. We would not come back to this restaurant anymore. I believe the owner pay very low wages to the waitress, so they are not happy.
