Read moreI came to this Nepali store a few day's ago. I’ve been their customer for a while and have shopped here. I know they usually charge extra if you pay with a credit card. This time when I went, the lady at the counter didn’t ask me whether I wanted to pay with debit or credit — I just paid with my debit card. Then she told me she had clicked credit and said my payment wouldn’t go through, and that the amount would come back to my account. I paid again using debit.
Today I called my bank and they told me that’s not possible — the money won’t come back. So now I’ve basically been charged twice. I’m really disappointed because I trusted them, and this situation could have been avoided if they had confirmed payment type...
