Buzz Buzz Pizza — Restaurant in Toronto

I have been ordering from Buzz Buzz Pizza, for the past 10 years or so. When I called to order yesterday, I had spoken to Tony. I found him to be very cold and unfriendly towards me. I had told him that I had just attended a very dear friend's funeral yesterday morning and that I had a craving for their Cesar salad, (which is super delicious) and their deluxe pizza, 7 toppings for the price of 5 toppings, which I love! Not one bit of compassion from him. Not a sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. I had told him twice and still nothing! He totally ignored what I had said and kept moving on with my order, without acknowledging my loss. I know that I was calling in to order food, but seriously? No heart. If it was my restaurant, I would have given a complimentary garlic bread or something. It wasn't expected, but it would have been a nice added touch, I think. :-( That was very inconsiderate and cold on his behalf. The delivery was great, timing wise. Nicholas was the delivery driver. He was the nicest guy ever! When I had mentioned my friend's passing, right away he had said he was sorry for my loss. It was a most difficult day for me and all I wanted to do, was to enjoy my favourites from his restaurant, but instead, this was how I was greeted over the telephone. It left a bad taste in my mouth, to say the least, but I will still continue ordering from them, because I love their food so much. This place gets 5 stars from me every time. They've been in business for 36 years and I hope they're still in business for many many more. This business and the people they serve mean everything to this wonderful family and it still shows after all these years. They're just plain and simply put, a hardworking family that love serving up great food to good people. I've known about the BUZZ my whole life as I was a child when we first moved into the area and BUZZ BUZZ was just a couple more years away from opening up their doors in the very spot they're still in 36 years later. I took my very good friend there today as he told me it'd been 25 years or so since he'd had BUZZ BUZZ and he'd be interested in seeing if the BUZZ still rocked. Guess what? They absolutely still do! We visited this place on a word of mouth recommendation from someone who often does takeout from here. We dined in and got the chicken souvlaki dinner and a small pizza with three toppings. The portion sizes were great value for money; however, the food and dine-in service fell a bit below expectations. The pizza crust was crunchy/crispy and the sauce was simple. The toppings were fresh though. The patio/den outside in the parking lot had a makeshift feel to it though it was nice there was a TV where we could watch the Jays game live. The service could have been better. The server did not check in on us during our visit or offer water refills after our initial glass from when we were seated. The server only came by once near the end of our meal and then shortly after again with the bill. We were quite parched throughout our meal and it was hard to catch the attention of the server since they spent most of their time inside the establishment - they could have been short-staffed.
