Lucky Wok Restaurants — Restaurant in Toronto

Actually a sad story with a happy ending... Been a client of lucky wok for over 15 years. I live one block away so even though I never liked their food, it was convenient and I like their Won ton soup. My dog loved it to so for over 15 years he got his won ton soup twice a month and of course I order won ton soup for me as well. It happened that 3 months ago I had a medical procedure and couldn’t go to pick up my order. I called and notified them that someone was coming to pick up the food. The girl on the phone who took my order could NOT speak English and I had a rough time explaining that I wanted to pay by credit card and that someone was going to pick it up. She said no. I had to go and pick it up myself. I thought this was ridiculous since I had paid by credit card before and so I cancelled the order. 20 min later the charming owner called me and proceeded to tell me “your order is ready” I said I am sorry I cancelled it right away when I was told I had to pick it up myself.... she banned me from coming to her restaurant. LOL Thank you. I have never ordered from Sea high On Bathurst because I didn’t think they would deliver... thanks to you banning me I now have real descent Chinese food AND I don’t have to order $35 + to get delivered...... THANK YOU so much for banning me.... You were always rude and your food was horrible. Truly wonder how you could have some nice reviews.... must have a lot...

After placing a phone order, I received an email confirmation that my credit card had been processed. After waiting an hour and a half for the food to be delivered, the driver yelled at me to sign an authorization in order for me to get my food, that was already paid fkr. The driver sped off with my food after yelling something about Just eat, which had nothing to do with my order. When I called the store, I was told that I refused to pay for my order and that food would not be delivered.

The person hung up on me so I called back because I wanted my food and was told it would be delivered. 20 minutes later someone else called saying they would refund my money and would not be delivering my food, told me they were very busy the hung up on me.

I enjoyed their food before but this is the worst kind of service. Once a charge is put through with a promise for delivery, the business must provide the product. I will never again use their services...

We just went for the first time and picked up a fried rice, a chicken chow mein, and two chicken dishes. The rice and noodles were good, the chicken was not. We got a general tso chicken and a sesame chicken, and both had absolutely no flavour. The general tso chicken was extremely plain. The sesame chicken was BRIGHT red and smelled extremely spicy when I took the lid off (which obviously you would not expect from sesame chicken) but it also had almost no flavour. Both chicken containers were filled with broccoli and had chicken on top, so what appears to be a heaping order of chicken is actually just a heaping order of broccoli with enough chicken on top to hide the broccoli...
