*READ THIS BEFORE BUYING ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE
I would never ever buy any products from this store again. I bought a tv from them last year (2023) with a 5-Year “money back extended warranty”($489). The salesperson did everything to sell me the tv and the extended warranty but never told me the catch. It’s not a money back program where you can claim a refund for the extended warranty. You’ll only get a “rebate” for the amount you paid for the extended warranty. You’ll need to spend “double” the amount of the rebate to get the benefit. If you purchased an extended warranty for $489, you need to spend $978 to claim the rebate.
These guys sold me a defective TV which died within a year. The manufacturer gave me a refund since the TV could not be repaired. Since I purchased the extended warranty from visions, I went back to the store and explained them what happened, but they were not ready to provide the extended warranty rebate. After some back and forth, they did provide the rebate earlier (or else I had to wait for 5 years to claim the rebate) and only then they tell me that I need to spend double the amount to use the rebate. What’s the point in holding the extended warranty against a product that’s dead and beyond repairs?
The salesperson initially called and told me that he would provide the rebate earlier but after I went to the store he twisted his words and said “you are lying, I never told you that I would give you the rebate earlier”. Is this how you speak to your customers?
The store manager was asking me irrelevant questions as to what was the refund amount I received from the manufacturer. I mean why should I give out all those details to him? He harassed me saying I negotiated the price when purchasing the TV and paid a lesser price. Who asked you to sell me the tv for a reduced price just because I negotiated? Also FYI, I paid the amount that your website was displaying and nothing less.
To anyone who’s reading this, ask all the details, read their policies before purchasing anything from this store. They scam their customers in a...
Read moreMy worst decision was to buy something there; I used the TV for one week. Saturday, When I was using my 75" TV on my PS5, The screen went black (with sound, no video); I took the TV I packed following the unboxing recommendation (but in reverse); I used a large Van to move to the store, and there THE MANAGER lifted against one of the sides when LG said on the Owner's Manual said, "keep the TV upright, NEVER turn the TV on its side or tilt towards the left or right." When The MANAGER opened the box, he saw what I said, "The black screen," but then what LG warned on the Owner's manual:
"Lifting and moving the TV Please Note the following advice to prevent the TV from being scratched or DAMAGED and for safe transportation regardless of its type and size."
Now my NEW 75" TV has damage on the side that THE MANAGER Lifted... and the Manager ran away, and left the salesperson dealing with me, but this person just said, "That's the usual way we move stuff here," "you did it when you packed at home or on the movement." "We will send the TV to LG to claim the warranty" (This is a physical damage, the warranty does not cover this.)
10 YEARS DEALING with technology as part of my work, and they told me this $h!t; now they are blaming a third-party person, and the HEADOFFICE just said, "We don't deal with these issues on the stores."
This is ridiculous; why do they have their "brand name" if they don't represent the brand or support this!!"
I tried on multiple times to talk to them, "Okay, I know it is an expensive repair, let's find a way," but they said... "it is your fault; you have two options pick up the TV or, on 15 days, we will throw out."
Now, I have to wait for Ontario consumer protection. Because they don't care about the consumer or, at least, do not have responsibility for their actions. They should have an insures for this cases... but I am...

So, when I received the TV after a delay in shipping (no fault of Visions) I received after 17 days from purchase. When I opened the box, removed the TV, it was stuck in an LG service mode. They do a quality check before sending and whoever did the quality check didn't exit this mode. I cannot tell you how disappointing this was. I couldn't do anything about it. I was working with Troy Bleekendaal at this Visions store, and he did everything he possibly could to help me! It took a few days to get this resolved with back-and-forth communication. I know he was on the phone with LG to get this resolved, involving the rep, service calls, etc. He was able to escalate and get an LG service rep to come by the house to see if we could get this resolved. The tech clicked 2 buttons on his service remote and bam!, the WebOS came up on the screen. I have to say that it was complete neglect on LG's part to remove this service menu before shipping. Troy was checking in frequently with me, providing updates all along! While I am disappointed with the manufacturer for leaving this TV in tech mode (user remote being completely useless) Troy was a superstar at Visions to help me all along the way! I sincerely thank you for the support Troy! I am now anxious to get this TV set up now that I have access to it. Appreciate all the efforts from Visions. Some things are beyond our control, but if you are looking for great service, price and follow-through support, I'd honestly look no further than Visions! I would highly recommend this store, as well as speaking with Troy who took genuine care to get me up and running! I am now looking forward to enjoying my new TV now that the proverbial key has been unlocked by visions!...
