The best produce deals in the city! I do have to warn that the super low prices sometimes reflect the quality of certain items, just choose carefully. Most of the produce is very ripe and if you're someone like me who likes to frequently shop and consume produce within 1-2 days this is the place for you. I like my fruit ripe so this works for me. Other than that, stock up on fruits for smoothies and freeze! Watch for their $1 baggies, anything in tighed bags is $1. I bought 9 perfectly ripe kiwis for a $1...

my favorite market in East Van, you can get fruit and veggies for good prices...plan to use it that day or two though as it is usually very ripe when you buy. Watch expiry dates on yogurt and some things, but otherwise I am always happy with everything i purchase. the best part are the ladies who work there, best customer service and they are also very nice people, the main reason I like to shop there. prefer this place to the poor service of other markets...

Good deals if you're looking for ready to go produce. Good prices on coffee, Italian goods, Latino foods. They take care of the neighborhood keeping it reasonable. If you want to paint a still life, go to Donald's (also great but $$$), buy if you're shopping daily, go BK!!!
