Went into the SOFTMOC at VAUGHAN MILLS location to do a return and the MANAGER TRAVIS treated me like trash. Im not sure if it was because Im black or because I am a women, however he is white so Im not sure what was going through his head. He yelled told me to go sell the shoes online, told me the receipt isn't correct when I purchased the shoes and i have to drive back up to upper canada mall to sort it out. I told him why would i have to drive back an hr away he told me he is going to call security on me and my husband and at that point i walked out and called head office. They told me I do not have to drive back up to upper canada mall he can do the return with the purchase ticket she found which was on my account which he previously looked up. So we went back into the store with head office on the phone and he started antagonizing me standing next to the lady who was actually doing the return and he called me a nobody. Worst experience ever. The coworker called me later on in the evening to apologize to me she found my email and phone contact just to call and give me the guys name and told me he is the manager and I should call head office on him. so I called the next day to followup and the person i got was so rude and unsympathetic, was not trying to understand me and tried to offer me a 20% coupon, after she said nothing can be done and after her herself speaking with her manager. I said I would like to speak to your manager I don't need anyone to speak on behalf of me. Then I finally got put through to the manager and EMILY was very nice, understanding, and sympathetic to me and the situation. THE MANAGER TRAVIS AT VAUGHAN MILLS SOFT MOC NEEDS TO GO! The service was relatively ok, as that location is usually understaffed and you have to wait forever to get help from a customer service representative. I came home to see my package on my front porch where someone could easily pass and pick it up and also no one signed for anything. When I finally open the box, there were 2 right foot pair of winter boots. I call customer service and I got through to an operator quite easily. However, she was not the nicest of person and she got curt with me as I was distracted with my baby who was playing with a musical toy. I told her that her tone was rather sharp and I did not appreciate the way she spoke to me . I then relayed the fact that this is the second time that I had purchase a product from Softmoc where the product was not in the best condition. She apologized and I told her that I usually give 3 strikes then Iām done with purchasing a product from a store that do not take time out to do their customer service effectively. Iām never a fan of online purchase as there is always something that gets misplaced or incorrectly done. When I asked to call more representatives, the girl at the cashier desk responded me very rudely. Second time, I was first in the line and there was nobody at the cashier desk. After some time, the girl came to the desk and started to help another person out of the line. When I reminded her to give service respecting to the line order, she again talked to me very rudely and continued on her own way.
