I absolutely love Thistle & Wren! You can tell the owner and staff put their heart and soul into curating unique and quality offerings of clothing, books, toys etc. (new and used). Can I just say how absolutely beautiful and organized the shop looks as you enter, which makes it so easy to find exactly what you need!

I recently visited the shop with my Mom and Sister and the owner was very welcoming and helped us all find the perfect items, colours, and sizes. My Sister’s little one was even able to play in the kids area to buy us a little more time to shop, which was handy! What I’ve learned as a new Mom navigating the baby retail world, is you certainly “get what you pay for”. This boutique’s products stand out among the rest… my husband can always tell by the quality when something I bought is from Thistle & Wren:)

We have been thinking of moving to Fernwood and so naturally we decided to extensively explore the areas and shops around it, because they more often than not contribute to the culture in a neighborhood. We grabbed our coffees and wandered into Thistle & Wren and even though we didn't have anyone to buy for at the moment, we were completely warmed and surrounded by that energy you only hope to emit to those around you. We engaged with Candace, were welcomed and educated on the space of not only her beautiful shop, but also others around us and it ended up being a really great hang. We need more people and experiences like this. And of course, the shop is adorable, with pre-loved options too, and we've been back so many times thanks to what it provides on so many levels. Thistle & Wren! A beautiful, boutique-like consignment store in a very cool neighbourhood! We love shopping here and I never fail to find what I'm looking for. They have an incredible range of baby 'equipment', quality footwear, outdoor gear (good ol' West Coast essentials: muddy buddies, rain coats, etc.), and gorgeous gently-used, name-brand clothing (MEC, Native, Aden and Anais, Bogs, Sorel...to name just a few of the brands I'm always in search for). The staff has always been incredibly friendly and helpful, not to mention very gracious when I have my youngest bull-in-a-China-shop kid in tow ; ) A-N-D, I love that they have a bathroom for their customers: we're able to try things on with ease, and meet all those potty-pit-stop requirements along with way!
