After posting my review I was contacted by the owner and was given a choice of my money back or a store credit. I chose a store credit. Let’s face it the store has some yummy stuff. 😊 I was impressed at how quickly I received a response and the explanation to my complaint. I have changed my 3 star rating to a 5 star rating and look forward to visiting the store in the future.

I initially went to get a gift basket for a neighbour who’s husband passed away. The thought was to get some prepared foods for her so she didn’t have to cook if family and friends dropped by. They are known for frozen ready to eat meals. While there I purchased for myself the chicken tetrazzini. I popped it in the oven at the temperature it said on the top of the container, when it was finished I was surprised too find it was just chicken and sauce. No pasta noodles. I called the shop and explained that my purchase wasn’t a complete meal. And no where on the box did it say sauce and chicken only or pasta not included. It cost 28$ by the way. The gal that answered the phone was less than professional. Without putting me on hold she asked another person whom I assume worked there my questions. Then repeated the answers back to me. It was a totally underwhelming experience. I also would have been completely horrified if I had purchased that for my neighbour’s gift basket and she had to cook pasta to complete the meal while grieving the loss of her husband. I am giving 3 stars for the following reason. Packaging is missing important information and the unprofessional customer...

The prepared frozen meals are exceptionally delicious and healthy! I prefer to cook all meals from scratch and avoid the excessive sodium and sugar that tends to be added to already prepared meals. During a busy time for us, my family was gifted meals from Dana Shortt. I was delighted by the unique flavours and wholesome, healthy and fresh tasting ingredients. I felt energized after these tasty meals. The Lamb Shepherd’s Pie with red wine mushroom gravy and sweet potato topping was especially outstanding. I will 100% be purchasing meals and gifts here...

This is a neat kind of store, We were expecting it to have more chocolate/ treat items. Mainly different kinds of cooking oils. Every time we turned around there was a lady standing there with samples we only tried the maple fudge which we ended up buying some. The store had a very odd smell to is that wasn't pleasant. The lady giving out samples was very nice the lady on the cash wasn't rude but really wasn't friendly either This was our first time to the store maybe back to try some of the...
