Ice Arena West Vancouver exceeded all expectations during our recent visit with friends. The District of West Vancouver truly knows how to create a magical atmosphere, making it a night to remember for the staff and their families. The generosity of providing all the necessary equipment, along with the warm cups of hot chocolate and refreshing fruit, added a thoughtful touch to the experience. Mahshid and I were first-timers on the ice, and we couldn't have asked for a better introduction to ice skating. The rink's inviting ambiance, coupled with the support from the staff, made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. We left with smiles on our faces, grateful for the wonderful time we had at Ice Arena West Vancouver. It's a definite must-visit for anyone looking to have a fun and well-cared-for ice skating adventure! ⛸️🌟

Three stars for summer Ride & Slide play zone. OK inflatables for kids to enjoy. But staff don't have much control over the kids -- as they seem to cluster in the middle of the arena and just survey the activity. School age kids in bouncy castles and on slides can get out of hand if rules aren't constantly being explained and enforced. Sadly, facilities can't rely on some parents, nannies, or camp leaders to do that job. Other similar play zones in YVR (eg, Kerrisdale) do a better job of keeping kids in line without stifling the fun.

We went for the group private lesson (4 people - 40 dollars- 90 minutes, includes rentals). Awesome value for money, great instructors. The arena is perfect and t os easy to park.

The West Vancouver Ice Area is all that I could ask for in an ice area. Adequate viewing areas, friendly staff and decent rates make it all the more enjoyable. They offer public skates which are enjoyable, but it’s aimed for beginners / smaller children. In the summer they have a variety of non-ice activities. A bit dated but...
