Bean Around The World - West Van Community Centre — Restaurant in West Vancouver

Despite the thousands of faces traipsing through this very busy rec centre, the staff here have memorized my embarrassingly complicated coffee order. There is often a line, but they move quickly enough for me to manage it with my large and unruly brood of children in tow- always through in a flash. The banana bread is a staple in my bribery arsenal and the coffee is by far the best I’ve had in any comparable environment. Great convenient location at WV Community/Aquatic Centre. Virtual market monopoly on uber-tasty sandwiches/snacks + coffees with constant flow of dedicated customers. Lattes + Mochas are a fave and always a good choice.

Interior space is bright with tables/counter/some booths. Outside seating also available in Atrium, and on broad outdoor patio. Amazing views of treed pathways + gardens, Boulder Fountain + Great Lawn.

Really lucky to have this place in the Community Centre. The staff are super friendly and make the constant shuttling around of children between lessons bearable. Really good baked products and sandwiches (esp. tuna diablo) and consistently good coffee.
