Decent food but horrible service! This was my third lunch visit to Casa Mia (a Tuesday at noon). The food is tasty but the service was ridiculously slow today. There were three adults behind the counter, who were likely the owners, but only one server ( a tall young male). The restaurant was only about 1/4 full upon our arrival. After being quickly seated, the good service ended. Approximately 15 minutes after being seated and never being able to catch the waiter's attention, we had to go up to the counter and ask to put our order in. We witnessed other people also having to do the same. After ordering two beer, a "regular coffee" and our meals, it took at least 10 minutes to get our beer and over 15 minutes for the coffee, as the servicer "had to brew a new pot." The coffee was undrinkable. The food arrived within about 20 minutes of ordering. As we ate, we continued to observe several frustrated patrons who also had to go to the counter to ask for service. The additional three adults behind the counter were completely oblivious to what was happening in the restaurant. They never helped or acknowledged anyone and appeared to be working on marketing strategies as they made up small food/drink items and took pictures. Although I thought I had found a convenient lunch location to bring my elderly father, we will not be returning after the service we...
Read morePoor service, food you could literally just make at home (and probably better) and it took so long to come. Not much menu variety and the furthest thing from authentic Italian food. We had a terrible experience in a group of 5 where three of us ordered appies and received them at the same time as the two others got their pasta meal. After we had finished our appetizers and they had finished their pasta we still didn’t receive the rest of the pasta, about 30 minutes after sitting with our food and not being checked on we asked the server to check and she brushed us off another 10 minutes later we get our food and are ready to leave because we’ve been waiting over an hour, the server acted rude and annoyed at us for splitting the bill individually and rolled her eyes and scoffed when she had to change the bill because one of us moved seat to get the sun out of our eyes. After wanting to tip nothing and one of our cards not going through the first time the server went ahead and gave herself a hefty tip percentage on the machine without even asking. Server has a blue splatter tattoo on her arm and there was no help or water refills the entire time...
Read moreMy wife & I had lunch there for our first time on 28 July '25. We ordered the Fresh Bread w olive oil & balsamic vinegar; sour dough & focaccia, both were delicious. For our main dish, we shared Basil Pesto on their in-house made rigatoni; it was perfection, absolutely spectacular. Everything about this restaurant was superb; the server was charming (from Florence) and made us feel welcome the minute we walked in, the food was authentic Italian at its best (all made in the cucina from scratch), and the atmosphere, for us, was ideal - it was casual w. nicely spaced seating, a long, curved wall of windows, & a green/white/red motif to match their famous flag. The meal was extremely reasonably priced, especially considering the quality - easily on par with the finest Italian restaurants that we've eaten in - & we both loved the atmosphere. The next visit, which will be soon, we may try one of their pizzas (although, it will be difficult to resist the bread & basil pesto rigatoni again), & if we have enough room, try their gelato. As it was, we were too full from our lunch to try it, but I've no doubt it's delicious as well. Bravo Casa Mia,...
