I have to revise my initial review as the owner seems to lack introspection(the ability to see one's own faults) so here we go. I get that the owner was helping other customer's and I should have waited to ask if I could take the slips, for that I accept responsibility. The fact that she stated in her initial response to me that I seemed upset even though she rudely responded to me and talked to me like I was child shows a lack of accountability and respect for her "customers". This is not the first time she has been in a bad mood and treated customers poorly, I have witnessed it numerous times, she has even directed her bad attitude towards me in the past, which appalled me but I refrained from mentioning it to her. Her stating that I slammed her door upon exiting is absolutely ludicrous, lol. She also states given the "brief" interaction she is surprised to hear that i thought she was "rude", lol. People can be rude in brief interactions, it happens all of the time, this rebuttal holds absolutely no weight whatsoever, so nice try there!

I would not be surprised whatsoever if she loses customers in the future(she's probably already lost some) with her lack of "professionalism". There is a reason I got upset, she was rude to me initially, so I was rude as well. All she is doing is trying to protect her reputation and business in terms of these reviews which is why I am not at all surprised she turned it around on me and made me look like the only one with the issue to fit her narrative.

You know these folks are doing their best in this economy and keeping their doors open to serve the public as a local business is a struggle, yet they choose to do it anyway. Support them however you can. Buy a drink, smoke, bread, cat food, whatever. These stores are a rare breed and it’s up to us to keep them alive. Kind service and great selection. Horrible service. I went there to buy 11 pkgs of 6 $140 for my step daughter who lives in Windsor Ontario, since ensure us running very low I'm product.
