I had the most disrespectful and degrading experience in this salon.

I came for a colour and a cut. I made it very clear that I want to colour all of hair (it is very long, down to my waist) since I haven’t been to a hair salon in over two years after having a baby. I was very excited for the fresh colour, even thought it’s basically the same colour I have now, and mentioned it multiple times. The colourist was very efficient and coloured my very long hair in about 15 minutes, and when she was done I made sure to verify that she coloured my whole hair and not just the roots, to which she replied “yes, see?”, pointing to my lengths being wet with product. I sat there waiting for the colour to set, but I felt that something was off… so right before the wash touched my lengths and they were covered in oil without a trace of hair dye!!! I was horrified. When I asked the stylist she said that the oil is “shine” and proceeded to try to convince me that I didn’t need to dye the lengths as they are basically the same colour as the roots. I was so angry and humiliated. She listened to my request, decided to do the opposite, and then lied to my face. I’ve honestly never been treated so disrespectfully by a professional. I only came here to get product that was hard to find elsewhere. But the manager and the hair stylists are so down to earth and very pleasant to talk with, very personable and care about their clients. Judging just by that I would recommend anyone looking for a hair...
