Aruba Massage Therapy Clinic — Local services in Winnipeg

I first found out about Aruba Massage through a co-worker who recommened the business to me, and their reasonable prices for a full body hot stone massage (which I was interested in getting), so I thought I would give them a try. Upon arriving at and walking into the massage clinic, I had a very good first impression. Although the clinic is not a world class, state of the art health & wellness centre, it was clean, well maintained, and the decor reflected the business accordingly. Since it was my first time at this particular clinic, there was paperwork to fill out, which was clear and conscise, and shortly after, the practioner who was doing the massage that day brought me to the room and gave instruction from there. I had not had a hot stone massage before, so I was given the background on the treatment and was told what I could expect. The massage went great! The atmosphere was relaxing and interruption free; the practioner who did the massage was professional, and made sure the massage went the way that I desired. At the end of the massage, the clinic asked me how I was feeling (as hot stone massages can make some people dizzy) my impression of the massage and told me to consume lots of water for the rest of the day. It was my second visit to this clinic. The first being in 2021. I thought my first visit was a one off as the therapist was very chatty making it impossible to relax. You felt under interrogation with all the questions (not about the massage). Fast forward to April 18 2025 and I figured I would try again, different therapist but same experience. I have never had massage therapy but after this experience I decided to look it up if a massage therapist is supposed to talk so much and give you the 20 questions treatment...well the answer is no they are not, because a massage is supposed to be relaxing for the patient with the therapist focused on your treatment, only asking questions regarding said treatment. I have an ongoing problem with the right side of my lower back and neck that I irritate regularly at the gym, creating pain and inability to sleep. I eventually get some relief over time, with meds and massage. When its really bad, I try to find a therapist who can see me quickly. I usually can not get an appointment until many days or weeks later. Yesterday, I again went on a search for a therapist who could see me asap.
