Woodstock Agricultural Society — Local services in Woodstock

It was great. I was at the monthly Horticultural Society. They are a bunch of great people who love plants and we learn about weeds and how dangerous some of them are and how others are beautiful and helpful. They have time for questions after their demonstrations and people bring plants to sell to those who would love a new plant. Brought a van load of kids and pets for the auction on Friday, August 18, 2023 @ 6 pm, and all had a great time! The 2 3-month old Lab puppies were one of the star attractions at the show .. and both went home with their new owners the same night. Their siblings (7 of them) are still waiting for their forever homes. Thought we'd go home with fewer animals .. that was not the case .. lol. If your only bank machine is broken and the building next door is locked please put a sign up so people don’t unpack their kids in 40 degree heat, get inside only to have to pack everyone back up and drive around looking for a bank machine.
