Most of the staff are rude or immature.

Especially the drink/restaurant staff. They walk around SKIPPING people/areas asking for drinks. Is it a race thing? Or an age thing? Something has been said MANY times and here we are still undergoing this. Even those tipped will skip people.

I witnessed so many people needing help in many departments, and staff are too busy standing and chatting. Some are treated HORRIBLY for no reason.

The odds of winning anything are VERY LOW, you’re maybe lucky to win SOME of what you put in that day. Being at gold level, there’s still NOTHING to show for it.

The statistics DON’T LIE about the amount of MONEY WASTED. It’s logical to just STAY AWAY.

One thing to waste money or be in painful debt chasing losses, but to get treated like DIRT while in the process?

Something needs to be done about the RUDE staff and the odds of winning. At LEAST do a “give and take” to those long time coming, who have thrown away money.

There’s only a FEW nice, genuine staff. There’s a list that WILL be forwarded to the head office.

The amount of money people waste in there, they should at LEAST treat people better.

Anybody I talk to says the same things about this place. I often avoided coming here and going to another chain. I’m tired of giving this place chance after chance.

The place is, however, VERY CLEAN. The cleaning staff treat people nicer than the other departments, which SAYS SOMETHING.

Several older machines that were popular with other patrons have been removed. Then the actual machines people want to play are very limited.

The music is WAY too loud. They play the same songs over and over. Plus, I don’t think people want to hear new-age rap crap.

The building is too small and CROWDED. Sometimes you can’t get on any machine if the place is busy. The restaurant is crowded for the self-serve drinks (because they ONLY serve favourite people).

The access to the “open” restrooms without doors is a STUPID concept. Trying to get through the crowded area of people trying to eat is uncomfortable.

The thermostat has been so uncomfortable that NOTHING has been done about that either.

The chairs are VERY uncomfortable and even given people injuries. Even the new spinning chairs are uncomfortable.

They need to extend their parking lot or something. It is WAY too small of a parking lot.

Why are there only two entrances without any automatic doors?

These issues have been ongoing for YEARS. I personally have addressed them via phone call and email. So now it will be posted in a public review form.

Bottom line, may the odds be ever in...

"Play-Enjoy-and Celebrate! This "Motto" applies totally to the Gateway Casino in Woodstock. Yes, they are working hard, to install and change many machines to the newest standard of the Casino Industry- but, not long from now, it all will be back "to normal" . It's all for the "fun of it" and I personally experience such at every visit during the day's each week as well on the weekends.

Also- The management, security and customer service attendants- for all the many "payouts" - as well the kitchen and customer beverage servers, are absolutely professional and most courteous; of course, not to forget the front desk ambassadors, ALL are by far unmatched within the many Casino facilities, located near-by and further all around us.

If you want to have real fun and seeking a friendly and very special place to be taken care off and actually go home with a "winning happy face" , then please visit the "next door" Gateway Casino in Woodstock/Ontario.

They even offer a fantastic huge and delicious breakfast, together with other favourite foods and specials- like homemade soups, french-fries and super-duper sandwiches/etc.

I even joined their "player's/members card club; with it, I'm able to accumulate points to be converted immediately into cash while playing and often, there are surprise bonus spinning wheels- directly being part of all the machines and you will be notified of it "on the spot".

Last but not least, as a Member- with a player's card, you (I'm) receiving a monthly package, "stocked" with bonus $--ller's" for each week and many other surprises as great price give-aways. And, it doesn't stop there: special daily draws, huge ($1.000.00!) bonus cash draws , trips fully paid flight/accommodations and: lot's of cash as spending money!

And- yes, and then there are "CAR" give-aways!

Losing lots of money like usual. They really need to replace roulette with a real table. Or at least add 3 card poker to the computerized roulette table. And The payouts on most of the machines are not even fair. You bet $1.35, and if you hit three double bars, you get paid $0.60, cents while you bet $1.35. Three bars of the same kind should pay more than your bet. Not at Woodstock Casino, then payouts are totally unfair. Like the 7 7 7 machine. One notch off of getting the jackpot; the jackpot is $1235.00 at the top for red 7s. Betting $1.35, I am missing one notch from getting the $1235.00. And the payout is $108.20. How is that fair? From 1235.00, I'm one notch away and get a hundred bucks. If I got that top spot, it pays 1235.00. It seems unfair; being one notch away, I think it should be over 700.00. Nope, not there. 108.20, that's all you get. And most of their machines are in the casino's favor, not the public's. They would definitely bring more people in if they changed the payouts to be more fair than they are currently set, and a lot of my friends think the same. And we used to go there a lot, actually. I was a gold member for four months, then I stopped going because of how unfair it actually is.
