It is not a huge train station, but it has most things you need. It seems to be save, the information displays and announcements are clear, the toilets are clean and the staff at the ticket counter is friendly and helpful. There is also a restaurant, but which I did not visit. It you arrive or depart from Děčín hlavní nádraží, you will not be disappointed.

Hezké opravené nádraží s restaurací v děčínské čtvrti Podmokly, ul. Čs. mládeže 89/4. Vede tudy tranzitní železniční koridor Praha - Drážďany. Samotná budova byla dostavěna v roce 1865. Provoz na trati byl zahájen již v roce 1851. V roce 1874 se ze železniční stanice stal významný úst. uzel , a to připojením dalších tří tratí. V roce 1996-2004 byla budova i trať zrekonstruována.

Bodenlose Frechheit!

Bei meinem Wanderurlaub mit Freunden, verbrachten wir einen Tag noch in Prag. Dann fuhren wir in der Nacht vom 19.08.21 um 23:28 zurück und kauften am Bahnhof bei einer senilen, freundlichen Frau Tickets für die ganze Gruppe. Wir sind Studenten und zahlten das ermäßigte Ticket. Als wir jedoch von einem Schaffner kontrolliert wurden, zwang er uns alle, noch ein weiteres Ticket zu kaufen. Als wir nach dem Grund fragten, bekamen wir nur ein bockiges "Darum". Auf weitere Nachfragen reagierte er recht unfreundlich, mit einer gewissen Arroganz. Des Weiteren ließ er uns kurz vor der Kontrolle der Fahrkarten im Stich, als uns ein unangenehmer und problematischer Fahrgast belästigte. Wir sind zutiefst enttäuscht, nie wieder! Wären wir in Deutschland, würden wir Anzeige erstatten. Das war ein teures...
