Chocolaterie Puyodebat Biarritz — Local services in Bayonne

We visited on March 25 around 17:00. We were curious to try it out based on the good reviews in Google. We were just shocked by the rudeness of the service (did not see the name of the woman unfortunately) who gave us a treat to try out, and “warned” me in a very condescending way, to only get one out of the 4 in her hand, and proceeded to “guard” them! Which is exactly what I had done, she just thought I was going to take them all. Shocking to see something like that. Make sure to train and pick your employees right. This is the bare minimum.

La migliore cioccolateria di Biarritz! Il posto è magnifico, arredato con cura e così speciale che sembra di fare un salto indetro nel tempo. Il locale adibito a bar è un salottino elegante con i tavolini e i divanetti ben distanziati per chiacchierare in tranquillità, quadri alle pareti e tanti oggetti antichi molto belli. Le specialità di cioccolato sono tutte buonissime, ma non potete perdervi la cioccolata calda. Vi viene servita con un bastoncino miscelante di legno e una ciotolina di panna a parte in una stupenda "tasse à mustache". Si tratta di tazze concepite appositamente per non fare sporcare i baffi agli uomini. Si puo anche ammirare una splendida collezione di queste tazze in porcellana di Limoges. In questo negozio, potete trovare anche la birra al cacao e una vastissima varietà di deliziosi prodotti al cioccolato e alla pasta di mandorle, tutti irresistibili. La gentilezza e l'accoglienza di Corinne e Pantxika è così calorosa che vi farà venire voglia di ritornare: vi raccontano la storia di Puyodebat e vi illustrano i prodotti in vendita con grande passione. Brave, pazienti e vi accolgono con un bellissimo sorriso!! La cioccolata viene sempre servita con una caraffa d'acqua di accompagnamento e due fave di cacao da degustare. Da Puyodebat non si va a "bere la cioccolata", ma a vivere un'esperienza per la gola e per gli occhi!! Non potete mancare di visitare questo posto se siete a Biarritz....

I’ve tried many of the chocolate hot spots in Bayonne and Biarritz over the past years but this one takes the cake.

On a Saturday evening at 10pm the founder himself walked us through his products and served us, can’t get any better than that in terms of understanding why the products are exceptional.

Both chocolate and ice cream are exquisite, can’t recommend this...
