Fun place to poke around as you never know what you'll find. Staff are friendly enough and happy to answer any questions, although the young gentleman working the till didn't speak much English (although why should he? He's in France). Just to set expectations and mention that using Google translate can definitely be helpful in such situations since my two years of high school French from 1984 was not sufficient to communicate well enough 😅
Came away with this lovely St Amand iron earthenware cake stand (cracked but expertly repaired) for a mere 8€.
It always helps when you enjoy the music too. We caught most of the Chopin Piano Concerto no. 1 whilst there!

After browsing through the utter junk for a few minutes, the owner approached my friend and I and stared at us continuously. He then began yelling in French, that we were wasting his time and not purchasing anything. We then politely asked if we should leave and he began to escort us out. To make matters worse, he watched us walk the whole way down the street and gave out to fellow shop owners about us which was very embarrassing.
