Coffee was good, I can taste different aroma in cappuccino and staff very helpful for telling me what beans they used - for that morning it was Brésil. I did not take a bag with me, staff asked me few times did I take a bag, seems like they’re worried getting stolen — I was more surprised than offended. I hope they did not get stolen often and charge that in a cup of coffee, the 250g bag of beans was very good value however per cup of drinks they offer is not as cheap; I would recommend to try it yourself though, four stars because if I am fragile hearted I would get seriously offended by being suspected as a thief. I hope the staff finds...

Coffee good but overpriced. Service is poor; they offer all sorts of filters (it tells you to ask) but the barista just said he can’t make them because he’s too busy on the weekend (there were 3 other people there when we arrived). No issue if you are busy but acting like we asked something out of the ordinary is strange. Batch brew is good but very small for €3.50 (batch brew is cheap to make & hardly any labour). There are much better coffee places in Bordeaux like KURO & Blacklist. Both places have much better service too. Probably avoid this one as there are plenty of quality options...

Thinking of this cafe still makes me nostalgic for Bordeaux. This was close to our hotel, The Mercure, and we stumbled upon it by accident. We had another place in mind that morning but were running late for our tour and stopped by here instead. I've never had a better croissant in all of France. I think they only make a few a day if my French was up to par that day and I felt bad to want another in case there was another person who didn't have the culinary privilege. I am counting the days until I can go back to Bordeaux and this cafe as...

Nice coffee shop, located in a calm street where you can enjoy your coffee. Good selection of cakes and sweets to go along the coffe. For the coffee lover: If you are after an acidic coffee then this place has more of a an alkaline tasting coffee which is softer on the tongue. There coffee is roasted black, nice texture and light taste which for me is more for the afternoon that the early mornings. They serve coffee in long glass cups which is not ideal for latte in my point of view however suitable to many other. All in all, I highly recommend it

Decent café, not quite to my taste Dipped in for a quick refreshment after cakes round the corner. Coffee was a little too strong for my taste, almost ristretto (it was definitely espresso on the menu though) which wasn't entirely refreshing. However granted, that's just my personal taste and for what it was it was pretty good. Luckily tap water provided so I chugged that. Tea was tea. Only €5 in total though, not bad. Location was good in the sunshine, quiet street despite being just a short walk away from the riverfront.

Lovely looking cafe with great atmosphere and one of the few open in the Chartrons on a Sunday morning BUT wanted to order a croissant with Jam and butter but was told that that wasn’t possible, if I wanted jam and butter it could only come with a tartine- I tried to understand why the jam and butter going on the tartine couldn’t come with the croissant- but they wouldn’t do it - what ridiculous customer service. It then took 20 minutes fir the hot chocolate to arrive Shame a potentially nice cafe spoiled by a stupid waiter
