summary: service a bit sub-par overall, food okay, the atmosphere very nice; would try my luck elsewhere next time.

Walked in, waited for a couple minutes and got passed by a waiter a couple times, then asked him if I can ask him a question, got told to ask "that other guy" who was behind a long table drawing beer and in a conversation, so I didn't. Waited some more, saw some people go for tables directly, tried that, got sternly told all tables have a reservation and to wait, the got seated by the same server at the same table about 5 minutes later. But the ordering / service part was good enough and I kind of get we were obvious tourists speaking broken German and this is how these places work. I didn't expect 5-star service, but a little more respect and understanding would have gone a long way (though I get that the waiter was quite busy).

Got bratwurst + potato salad & schnitzel with fried potatoes. The food was good, on the greasy side, I've had better elsewhere but it wasn't bad either.

Aside form that, the deco / atmosphere was very nice.

I took my friends here to get a Cologne Brauhaus experience. Unfortunately, service was super slow, was sitting in front of an empty Kölsch Glas a lot of times.the Server Oli was not having it and we had to ask him multiple times to get us another round of beer.
