De ronde steen die aan de linkerkant aan het einde van het schiereiland ligt diende waarschijnlijk als een plat oppervlak om de vissen te doden of om voorwerpen die door de schepen werden meegebracht tentoon te stellen. Op de ronde steen staat een tekst. Bij en in het water kun je nog duidelijk de restanten van de Minoische haven zien. Interessant om te zien. Met de auto en de bus (bus stop 2 - 300 meter lopen) bereikbaar.

It's a beautiful place with amazing views of sea and white bungalows of hotel in distance. There's no sign or any description of this historical ruin on place and also to get to ruin on physical distance you need to step in water so keep that in mind too while visiting....

Το λιγότερο που θα μπορούσε να κάνει η αρμόδια αρχή, είναι να τοποθετήσει έστω ταμπέλες εξηγώντας την σπουδαιότητα του σημείου. Σε μια θαλασσοκρατορία, όπως ο μινωικός κόσμος, το να έχει σωθεί ένα τέτοιο μέρος, ακόμη και το που τοποθετούσαν την καρίνα του πλοίου (η οριζόντια «γραμμή» που διαφαίνεται, όπου νότια αυτής απέχει περισσότερη απόσταση απ' ότι βόρεια και μας δείχνει πως από εκεί γίνονταν οι όποιες εργασίες) είναι αν μη τι άλλο άκρως ενδιαφέρον.

Δύσκολο σημείο με τα μελτέμια του Αιγαίου να το χτυπούν, για να αξιοποιηθεί διαφορετικά. Αλλά αξίζει ο επισκέπτης να γνωρίζει πως κολυμπάει σε αρχαίο ναυπηγείο που...
