Honesty, I don't know why there are so many 5 stars reviews here. There is nothing amazing or exceptional on the menu. The location is great, you can watch a sunset from a nice terras. The restaurant offers sort of "fusion" cousine between a greek and an asian. The service is ok: ppl are polite and friendly. I ordered a strawberry frozen Margharita which was literally the worst I ever tried on this coast. They don't know how to make a decent cocktail. We ordered two salads: thai mango and alternative Greek. plz be aware: the portion is really small. the mango in the thai salad was green and hard. both salads there rather tasteless. as a main course I ordered some fish with beans. also very tasteless dish. after that we asked for a bill and they brought us one ball of yogurt for three of us as a compliment. just a yogurt with what they called "white chocolate" (in fact just sugar). we were quite disappointed after this 138 euros dinner! but the cherry on top was a diarrhea I've got after this chic dinner. we were visiting Crete since 2000 and finally we moved in here, so now we live in Kokkini Hani. this place have a great potential because of the location, but please please fire your chef and barmen. it's a shame, there are so many great places for a foodie like me around here and this one is definitely far from great.

Dear administration of Si La, the fact that our feedback is different from what you normally got could have two reasons: either your kitchen failed big time yesterday preparing the food, or you are paying to get fake positive reviews. In any case, I am still suffer from the consequences of the food poisoning and I would expect at least your excuses for the trouble. We had the pleasure of enjoying a truly wonderful evening at Si La, the fine dining restaurant at Knossos Beach Resort in Crete, and we are absolutely delighted.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality, friendly attention, and kind service. The staff were exceptional, professional, genuine, and attentive.

The food was outstanding. The concept, a creative fusion of Greek, Cretan, and Asian cuisine, is both bold and brilliantly executed. Every dish was a work of art in both presentation and taste. From the Alternative Greek Salad to the perfectly glazed miso eggplant and the tender salmon with celery purée, every bite was a pleasure. The desserts were equally impressive, both refined and delicious.

A special highlight for us was the inclusive approach to dietary preferences. My partner is vegan and was thrilled to find a variety of clearly marked vegan dishes. This is a place where vegans and meat lovers can enjoy a rich and satisfying experience alike.
