I spent 14 days at Kokkíni Khánion with my girlfriend (11 lug - 25 lug) in the Hotel Anna Apartments.
The location of the hotel was great, both the beach and the bus stop were a 5-minute walk away. Also, Heraklion is quite close to the hotel (only 20 minutes by bus).
When we arrived the room we found was not exactly in great condition: the coffee machine was missing which was in the room description, there were ants in the kitchen and there was a bedbug in the kettle. But the hotel staff took care of all these problems immediately.
An annoying thing, mainly due to the proximity of the airport, was the continuous passage of airplanes that were often noisy even with the windows closed.
Anyway, in general, we were very happy with the hotel, especially with the owner, Yanis, who is a very kind and friendly person who recommended us many places and restaurants to go to and a lot of greek food to taste.
In addition, the hotel had many agreements with tours and a car rental company that allowed us to rent a car at a very advantageous price and to go to Santorini with a guided tour by taking the bus directly from the hotel.
Even if we have to say that the man with which the hotel has the car rental agreement missed an appointment the first time, the second time he arrived late and without the car keys which he had to take later. So in general, not a very reliable person.
But, all in all, I would recommend this hotel, because I think the quality is proportional to the price, the location is really good and the...
Read moreI traveled alone for vacation and stayed at Anna Apartments – it was a very pleasant experience! The room was clean, and every day the trash was taken out, the floors were swept and mopped – a detail I really appreciated.
The owner is extremely kind and friendly. What impressed me the most was how he remembered the names of all the guests – such a small gesture, but it made the experience feel much more personal and respectful.
Getting to the city was super easy – the bus stop is just 2 minutes from the hotel, and buses run every 20 minutes. The nearby beach was decent, and I went with the classic towel and umbrella setup. A big bonus was that the accommodation provided an umbrella, chair, and other beach equipment, which was amazing since I flew and couldn’t bring much with me.
Overall, I’d give this stay 5 stars! The only downside was the noise from cars and planes taking off and landing (the airport is around 20 minutes away), but that was on me – I didn’t check the location more carefully beforehand. Other than that, I really appreciated the constant effort and the kindness of the owner – he always greeted me politely and made me feel...
Read moreWe had a wonderful time at Anna Apartments. It is very well located, close to a great sandy beach with warm water. Also, the bus station is just across the street so you can easily have access Heraklion or to other places (and bus stations are not that common in the area). The apartment that we had for 7 days was clean, cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed. I liked the balcony, the kitchenette, also the hairdryer was super handy for a girl with medium-long hair. The bed and pillows were nice and soft. The mirror in the bedroom is very useful for when you are getting ready to go out.|Now for the best part, the owner Yannis is the best host we've met so far. He is really kind and caring with all the guests, paying attention to their needs and making sure that they are having a good time, giving the best recommendations. He is also very funny and chatty. It was really pleasant for us to hang out with him and talk about literally anything. We are so greateful for the whole experience! Thank...
