A very special grocery store that has been around for a long time but has managed to keep up with ever changing food trends ... offering lots of speciality items that make foodies like me happy customers! 😊👍😊

They always have very good fresh produce and herbs ... as well as nice selection of both domestic & imported cheeses. I also recently discovered their spicy sausages ( see photo) that I really like to add to warm salads 😋😋 made with products from this store. 👍😊

The only minus are the tight aisles and overcrowded shelves due to the huge variety of products .... but the friendly and professional staff is always ready to help you find whatever you need! 😊😊

One of the few classic corner shop grocery stores still around in Reykjavík. It is mostly big box supermarkets now. But this store still has it's old school charm. It is still one of the most important meeting points for people in this community, along with the bakery, the bistro and the swimming pool — all right across the street. Here you will find all sorts of items ranging from local to imports. If you are a fan of Greek olive oil, they have it. A fan of hot sauce from habanero to Cayenne, they have it.

Are you looking for local goods? They have Hakarl, artic thyme tea, harðfiskur and smoked algae.
