This is an amazing park with two lakes. Lots of wildlife and lots of nature. I have found to wooded areas that felt like secret fairytale type fairy lands, where I could hide and embrace my inner child. all the stories I have read for example the Faraway Tree. There are many beautiful statues. And people are friendly and kind here. The environment is very relaxing. The sky looks astounding on the water. There are many benches to sit and relax on. Although there are roads and traffic around, this Park manages to be isolated from the noise pollution of traffic. I recommend this place...

This is the public park taking up space just south of Lake Tjornin in the city centre of Reykjavik. You'll find several walking paths traversing the park and through manicured lawns with flowerbeds and quite a few interesting monument installations which give added character to the park. Worth a leisurely walk which you can include as a loop around Lake...

A nice central park just south of downtown to walk or jog in. Quite a few statues around Tjörnin to stop and look at. It feels like you have a good view of Reykjavik even though you are only at ground level!
