Wow! Momo — Restaurant in Goa

I visited Wow Momo Margao today around 8 PM for takeaway. I ordered Chicken Delight and Chicken Moburg, paying ₹500 for a total bill of ₹313 including GST. The cashier returned ₹180 but refused to provide a printed bill, citing a slow system.

As a consumer, I am entitled to a proper GST invoice and transparent accounting for every transaction as per Indian consumer rights and tax regulations. Refusing to issue a bill is unacceptable and raises questions about compliance and customer trust.

When I reached home just minutes away and opened the Chicken Moburg, I was disappointed to find that the burger bread had crumbled into powder — clearly stale and not fresh. Serving food in such condition from a reputed outlet is unacceptable and unhygienic.

I urge Wow Momo Margao to take immediate corrective actions: Always provide printed GST-compliant bills to customers.Ensure food freshness and quality through proper storage and handling.Address such customer grievances promptly with refunds or replacement as needed.

Wow! Momo has a casual, fuss-free vibe — you walk in, order at the counter, and your food arrives pretty quickly. The space isn’t fancy but is clean, functional, and focused on speed over ambiance. It’s ideal when you’re craving something hot, snacky, and filling without waiting too long. The staff is polite, and the service is efficient, though seating can feel a bit cramped during peak hours. It’s the kind of place you go to for the food, not the setting.

First time trying Wow Momo, and had a very bad experience. The people behind the counter blatantly ignored us for a a few minutes. When they finally decided to take our order, the guy behind the counter was dumb-founded when I asked him to explain the items on the menu. In hindsight that should have been our cue to leave, however as we were hungry, in haste we placed an order, and proceeded to take a seat. 90% of the tables were filthy and had not been wiped. Our food took about 50 minutes to prepare (so much for "fast food"), and the hilight of the day was the food was so mind blowingly spicy, it was almost inedible. Not sure if this is due to an amateur cook or if this is how it's supposed to taste, but we were not advised by staff of the heat level or even asked our preference. Terrible...
