NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE - I purchased an orient electric indoor cooler from sector 29 reliance digital store for my +70yr old parents, only the buying experience until the moment money exchanged hands was good. Everything after that has been nothing short of a nightmare. The product I received was in bad condition, the body was scratched up and panels were in & out of places. It looked like a used product. So I put the complaint as soon as I unboxed it, shared the photos and videos of the bad defective product. Since the complaint almost every employee I have spoken to chose to hide behind the excuse of protocol or process. First I was told that someone from the Orient or ResQ team and I should wait for 24-48hrs, I waited and after which the ill-mannered ResQ team person simply said we don't service orient products please go back and contact the store. After multiple calls to the store left unanswered, I was fed up I went to reliance store to cancel and return the order, again i heard the nonsense about protocol and process. They said even for refund or return the process is long. So I left the store with no option but to wait for a replacement as it was clear I will not get the help i need.
It has been 5 days since the initial purchase date and I have driven to the store 3 times, I have called multiple times, my old and ill parents still are enduring the harsh weather without a cooler. By the completely unhelpful reliance process and protocol which does not help anyone but reliance only, I am in a way bullied into accepting a resolution I am not happy with, and I won't be compensated for all inconvenience by this ordeal in any way, I am just waiting for all this to be over. This 11k cooler has cost me far more. The thing which angers me most is the inconvenience to my 70yr old parents which will not be compensated at all, maybe it was my mistake to choose reliance digital
I am told I should receive a replacement by tomorrow but I do not have the confidence to believe all this will be resolved in my favor.
Possibly my last time buying from Reliance and I will actively advocate against use of reliance digital stores for electronics to everyone. I would love to give a zero stars rating but because of only one helpful person named Bhaskar from the customer support team who has shown some actual empathy to help me, shared his personal number and give actual customer support, I give one star rating.

This pertains to the pending after-sales service and the associated delays and reluctance from the store and back-office team regarding the unitâs installation. The focus seems overly skewed toward product sales, with insufficient attention given to post-purchase support.
After purchasing the unit on May 17, 2025, I initially requested the store to postpone the installation to allow for preliminary window customization needed to accommodate the ACâs dimensions. Following the completion of the customization, the installation was requested on the fifth day after purchase, May 22, 2025.
Since then, multiple service failures have occurred - initially the request was not raised, then later raised and subsequently canceled. An engineer was assigned, and a new request was even marked as "completed" despite the installation never taking place. All of these miscommunications were conveyed solely through a series of SMS messages, with no actual action taken on the ground.
With peak summer temperatures, such erratic service from Reliance Digitalâacross the store (Sector-29, Gurgaon), front-office, and back-officeâis unacceptable.

However, the facade quickly crumbled as I attempted to seek assistance. The staff, if one could call them that, appeared disinterested and untrained. It was as though my presence inconvenienced them.
Attempting to make a purchase only compounded my frustration. The lack of product knowledge among the employees was glaring. Simple queries were met with blank stares or inaccurate information, leaving me more confused than enlightened.
After finally settling on a product, the checkout process was another debacle. Long queues coupled with inefficient staff made for a tedious and time-consuming affair. It seemed as though they had no regard for customers' time or convenience.
Post-purchase support, or lack thereof, was the final nail in the coffin. Attempts to address issues with the product were met with bureaucratic red tape and a blatant disregard for consumer rights. It was abundantly clear that once they had my money, my satisfaction was no longer their concern.
