3 stars i think have provided over below experience, which i would like to share :
This Machan has three blocks seperated by wooden division.
I opted the first left one. As it has much space and occupancy then others.
If you sit outside instead of cabins, you can observe , only fans are there but not working purposely.
Aura is fine. Ambience is good. Since people coming there create aura, like dressing sense and sense of humour.
In evening, they provided live signing as well.
Now comes towards staff, food and cost.
Staff means the servers are not so good. May be the server which i have been come across might have some issues. Even i seen people were waiting for the food they required long enough. Servers are not polite. They use to point you if you are sitting idle and not ordering like four to five items instantly. They will come like five to ten times near you if you finish your order. Strange. Since restro get more rush during evening. They start approaching you, leave the seat if you would not like to order more. Wow. This is how they run the Machan. ( If you are paying in cash, servers are like ask you to pay the balance figure again and again repeatedly as tip) wow. This is how they treat, first pull the customers off and ask for tip.
Food was okey. But quantity as per food rates much less. That means you need to pay more for the same food which you can get outside in restro at 50% less rate. Yeah it's true.
It can be a one time visit.
Happy eating and please share your experience as well.
Thanks...
Read moreWhen it comes to Machan, I just love their Kakori Kababs. For me, this is perhaps the best thing I like of Machan. Even their Fish Amritsari is delicious. Checked out this place last week on a winter chill evening but these guys had gone some good heating arrangements to keep our group of 6-people warm enough. We also tried their Mutton Galouti Kebabs which were good. The place is really good for group parties but for family dining, I don't this place is very good. I liked their tandoori momos also and these days, the tandoori momos are all over food markets. Recently, I tried some at HUDA Market in Sector-56 as well. I find the food of Machan good and their entire theme is based on outdoor events. They organize quite many party events at all their sites and the service is good. We were a group of people from my work place and there was a much bigger group of men enjoying their evening, on the day of our visit. Once again, before wrapping up this review, the Kakori Kababs of Machan are to die for and I am going to keep coming to...
Read moreThey don't allow you to bring your own alcohol, as in purchased from shop of your choice. You can only bring one bought from shop next doors, and they make sure they sell at higher price than other L1 shops in Gurgaon. The food is average but overpriced. For example the masala papad or masala peanuts will cost you 300 rs and momos too will cost you 4 times that what u can buy outside. The music is very average and not upto the mark. In day time flies will keep pestering you and at night lizards will trouble you. They don't even serve cold water. It is at best room temperature and when u ask for ice it is at a cost. Even cold drinks and plastic glasses are sold at a higher price than anywhere outside. There can be better BYOBs in gurgaon but sadly most are closed now and that is why Machan is taking advantage of the situation.
Conclusion: you can go there if you want to drink at a lesser cost than a pub but then be ready to have a very...
