Bronx Brewery and Bar Exchange,is located in the buzzing Sector 29 complex.
Spread across different levels the place is thoughtfully done up right from the basement to the terrace and the bars are on both first and second floor making it ideal indoor seating, private get togethers and bachelor parties, corporate get-togethers etc . ground floor is children friendly too as I could spot a family enjoying with their small kids on the ground floor.
The cuisines on offer are Chinese, Mexican, North Indian and continental while the alcohol pricing is based on bar exchange concept with fluctuating prices.
We were a group of 6 and after we se settled down we were served with the tasters of their in house beer (Wheat, Premium and Dark Lager). I personally started with a 330 ml wheat beer and the next try for me was the dark beer which was a clear winner. The mouthfeel after having the beer was perfect to say the least.
The ladies preferred the mocktails, Gauva Berry and Cucumber Margarita. Both mocktails were packed with a punch, The Margarita had the cucumber punch while the Gauva Berry was spiced up with Tabasco and Pepper.
Cocktails we ordered were
Whisky Sour LIIT Watermelon Bramble
Whiskey Sour was well connocted while the Liit was just as perfect as it should be, not like others who mix more of colas than the spirits and the Watermelon Bramble was refreshing with Vodka and fresh watermelon.
When you are in a group and enjoying the beer and cocktails, you tend to eat a lot of starters and that’s what we did, we had the following
Baked Cheesy Non Veg Nchos Veg Pesto Pasta Salad Cheesy Stuffed Mushrooms American Extravaganza Pizza Veg/Non Veg Pita Pockets Glazed Chicken Wings Veg Platter Non veg platter
The mushrooms were indeed a cheesy affair, inviting presentation and crunchy from outside but cheesy at the centre... Delicious.
The Veg Pesto Pasta Salad was a surprisingly zingy and tasteful. It had , bell peppers, lettuce zucchini, cherry tomatoes, Olives and fusilli pasta dressed up with Pesto dressing and topped with grated parmesan. The garlic bread they served alongside worked as a perfect accompaniment.
The Glazed chicken wings too were yummy, both spicy and tangy....Nice
The non veg platter included Malai Tikka, Seekh, Fish and Chicken Tikka – The malai Tikka stood out and one could make out the freshness of the raw materials used and the meat cuts were brilliant too.
Veg Platter : Paneer Malai Tikka again was a winner in all the items served in the platter, the finest quality of paneer was used to dish out the best ever malai Tikka I have ever had. The Dahi ke kababs were good too.
With our tummies full, there was no scope for the main course.
The sweet buds within me were molesting me and before they got angry we had to order for something sweet. Any meal is incomplete anyways without a dessert.
We winded up our meal with there with their lip smackingy Jalebi Cigar rolls dipped in Rabdi which was served in a cute shot glasses. What made it more sweeter was that it was served complimentary !
A special acknowledgement for the owner Mr Aditya who was kind enough to come twice to our table and take our feedback at the end.
Highly...
Read moreI've always been a fan of the breweries that have been coming up in Sector-29, with each of them offering their special touch, be it flavored beer or simple improving the quality of the beer itself.
So when I entered Bronx, I expected a similar thing, but Bronx was way beyond that, and the fact it was almost full by 8 on a Friday evening really tells one why. Covering 3 floors with the second floor partly and the open terrace completely dedicated for those wanting to enjoy a smoke while enjoying their beer, Bronx caters to each and everyone's needs. Did I mention they also have a dance floor and Bar Exchange concept running parallel to their Brewing? Oh, and each table has a lit up cube, which can not only change colors but also has a disco mode as well!
Coming to their menu, I had the following food items:
Potato Wedges served with a Cheesy Dip - A simple dish made out of this world because of the cheesy dip.
Chicken Caesar Salad - Healthy dishes are generally misunderstood to be tasteless, but these guys were clearly not mistaken. Not once while eating my way through the salad did I feel like I was eating something tasteless. Well cooked and seasoned salad. Definitely a must try!
Hot Wings - Word of caution, these bad boys are really spicy! Just to ensure one doesn't start sweating like a pig they accompany this dish with Hot BBQ sauce, which has a sweet tinge to it, and helps in recuperating from the spiciness.
Chicken Extravaganza Pizza - Well as the name suggests, this Pizza came perfectly seasoned and loaded with Per Peri Chicken, BBQ Chicken, and Chicken Sausage

Our recent visit during Valentine's week to Bronx Bar Exchange was an Overwhelmingly Awesome one. Impressed with their Warm hospitality, Rustic Decor and Delectable delicacies, I think this place turned out to be Way Above our Expectations.
Spaciously and thoughtfully constructed through 4 floors, Bronxe Bar Exchange has something or other for everyone. Right from the customized music control to decor, each floor has been especially designed to make it a Family or Social or Private party lounge. Be their children friendly ground floor, or themed bars on 1st and 2nd floor, or be their basement party hub or exclusive smoking lounge or rooftop DJ and patio theme, you can make yourself comfortable in here anywhere you want.
The USP of this place is the FOOD and Prompt service, which is quite missing nowadays. After taking a quick tour, we got ourselves seated on their first floor. To begin with, we were offered their 3 Microbrewery beers samplers, which had distinctive taste. I ordered and loved their Cocktails and my personal favorite was their Spicy Guava Bomb Shot, which had chilly and tangy kick to every sip. I never had such an awesome drink ever. Another one that was suggested by the Manager was Cucumber Margarita and it had beautifully muddled cucumber and Margarita punch.
In Food, we ordered 4 starters as we were not in mood to eat full course heavy lunch.
My personal favorite, was Crumbled fried and Cheesy stuffed mushrooms. It was best mushrooms ever I had. Beautiful and inviting presentation and crunchy outside and cheesy centre made it a delicious affair.
Another delicious and recommended dish was their Mutton Burra Chops. This was so authentically done, loaded with rich spice and flavor. Finger licking good actually.
Next The Chicken cheesy Nachos Salad was a Warm not-so cheesy, chicken and colorful veggies loaded saucer that was crunchy and munchy delicious. Not to forget, their Slightly spicy, tangy and glazed Barbeque Chicken Wings were differently delicious as their In-house barbeque sauce made them different and better.
Our delicious lunch couldn't have been better as it ended with the sweetness of a complementary Red Velvet Heart Cake slice that was being served throughout Valentine's day.
Overall, Bronx Bar Exchange has left no small detailing left, to make sure that their guest leaves happy and turn...
