Classy Furniture — Local services in Kerala

We visited Classy Furniture while looking for good recliners that suited our needs. We specifically wanted powered recliners, not manual ones. We had visited several other well-known furniture stores in Kochi, but none of them had the right collection or style we were looking for. Another drawback with most other shops was that they had only one recliner on display — usually the manual ones — and they would say powered models are available only on order. So, we didn’t get the chance to actually sit and feel how the recliner would be. In some places, only high-end recliners in the ₹1 lakh range were available, and even then, just one piece was on display.

However, our experience at Classy Furniture was completely different. The staff was very welcoming, and they had a good range of both manual and powered recliners on display in different colors and styles. We could sit, feel the comfort, and choose what we liked right there. The build quality really stood out — that was one of the main reasons we decided to buy from them. In other stores, even when samples were available, the build quality wasn’t as impressive.

At Classy, we genuinely liked the collection, variety, comfort, build quality, customer service, and overall experience. Plus, the pricing was very reasonable and budget-friendly, which made it an even better choice. We were assisted by Ms. Praseena, who was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining all the options based on our requirements.

The delivery was on time with no delays, and everything was handled perfectly. We’re really happy with our purchase and so glad we chose Classy Furniture. Among the four other popular shops we visited in Kochi, this was the only one where we felt comfortable and found what we were looking for.

This was our 3rd time from Classy, at first we bought a cot and 2 seater sofa. The cot was made of Mahagony + MDF and after a year or two a small creek developed(one have to observe it carefully to see it ) in one of the parts. I raised a complaint and was circumspect about the response (10 year warranty was mentioned in the warranty card). They directed to me a person looking after the customer complaints, he asked me to send the photo of the affected part and the warranty card thru WhatsApp. No response was there for a day or two, on the 3rd day the guy called and told me that they replacing the entire lower panel. They came on that day itself and changed the part. ( The whole lower panel of the cot).

This experience made me trust Classy, we had purchased chairs and Sofa sets for our rented flat later on . Even though the items where little bit on the expensive side when compared to the peers, their designs were different and the service was exemplary.

Later on when we constructed a house at our native, thought of checking out some furnitures . There we met Praseena Chechi, who was the sales executive ,she walked us thru the items we were planning to buy. Her friendly demeanour and wise guidance helped us choose some furnitures for our new home. She committed the delivery on a specific date as per our requirement and ensured that the items all got delivered on that day itself. Worst service Alert- I recently purchased a chair from Classy furniture, hoping to benefit from their advertised offer. Unfortunately, upon receiving the chair, I discovered that its legs were shaking, indicating a clear quality issue. I promptly contacted customer service to address the problem, but to my dismay, my concerns were brushed aside. Despite multiple attempts to reach them, I received no meaningful response or effort to rectify the situation.

What's more disheartening is that when I inquired about purchasing an additional chair, I found that the price had been inexplicably hiked from its previous offer rate. This inconsistency in pricing and disregard for customer concerns showcases a concerning lack of integrity and customer commitment. Mr. Anil who was handling, fell far short of expectations.

I regret having to leave this review, but I hope it serves as a warning to others considering buying from them. Their after-sales service and commitment to customer satisfaction leave much to be desired. I urge potential customers to weigh their options carefully before making a purchase.

Furthermore, I’m skeptical of the positive reviews on Google, which paint a very different picture from my own frustrating experience. It appears that genuine customer feedback like mine may be overshadowed or misrepresented.
