Visited 145 at Bandra on Monday Night, Their 2nd outlet after success at KalaGhoda. Haven't been their, But will plan a visit for that place to after having an amazing experience at this place.
Lovely decor starts from the building gate itself, The tree decorated with round balls with the name 145 on it. Looks quite cool. While going towards the restaurant you can also stop for selfie session on stairs. Loved the color, Because it was Red(Liverpool :) ). Entering the bar, It is very huge in terms of space. They have options of High chairs, Sofa etc, Also have pool table. Music was amazing, Decent number of people turned up even though it was Monday. Large screen for sports lover. Food and drinks were as impressive as it can be. Overall experience was just astonishing.
Coming to what we had, I started with "Tart Berry Cooler". It was a vodka based cocktail containing Kokum & Cranberry. Very refreshing start of the evening.
For biting we ordered "Pav bhaji Cones" & "Kurkure Bahl". The first bite of Pavbhaji cone will make you fall in love with this place(At least it did to me). The Pavbhaji was the best one i ever had (It was slightly on sweeter side). But it was perfect for me, Nothing can beat this one. So a Must must try.
"Kurkure Bahl" - Their Signature dish was also great. Perfectly crunchy & tangy. It was a bhel(Mumbai Style) but with a variation of Kurkure instead of Mamra(Puffed Rice).
After having two of the great starters, Wanted to try more so ordered "Magic Masala Potato Skins" & "Crunchy Corn Tempura". Magic Masala Potato Skins is also one of their signature dishes. It is served with green chutney dip(A salsa version of the green chutney we get at regular Indian places). Potato Skins were great.
But "Crunchy Corn Tempura" was the one i like more, Because it had corn :P. Corn were sweet and perfectly fried. As per its name it was equally crunchy and delicious. This one was served with Spicy Mayo Dip, Which was also as good as the green chutney dip(A bit more better). Loved this.
Midway my drink glass was empty, So tried "The Bandra Mule". Another Vodka based drink, Served in a cool looking Brass Mug(Gives you an antique kind of feel). Tried this one because in this one vodka is mixed with Green Chutney, Which sounded interesting. The drink was good.
To go with it ordered "Stuffed Cheese Naan", Another signature one. In this they serve 5 Cheesy naans(Puri shaped) with green chutney. If you love cheese, It would be a mistake to miss this one.
Didn't wanted to repeat any ingredients so decided on "Mushroom on Toast". Button mushrooms with cheesy cream sauce tasted excellent and toast was equally good. But somehow i wasn't liking eating them together. So i ate the stuffings first and toast letter(Like how most of us would have done with cream biscuits as a child :P).
Wanted to have one more drink but couldn't decide, So one of the staff member(Gopal) suggested "Cucumber & Basil Martini". Which felt kind of a healthy drink, So one should feel good after cheating this much on a Diet :P. The drink was amazing, felt it to be less tangy and more kind of sweet.
None of us had much room for Main course but still ordered "Fredo's Favorite", Penne in creamy cheese sauce. Best pasta i had since the visit to Italy in a box. This one is a spicier one So if you like spice, Go for it.
Time came for dessert, Wanted to try chocolate but wouldn't wanted to miss their famous Cotton Candy Tower, So we had both "Cotton Candy Tower" & "Four Layered Chocolate Bomb".
Cotton candy tower is placed on a 145 year old Women head(Age was written on her forehead :P). Savored each hair i ate :P. Four Layered Chocolate Bomb was equally delicious, Layer of white and dark chocolate, Red velvet & Brownie. It was a delight who likes all of this. I enjoy red velvet less, So it kind of didn't go for me. But Buddhi na baal more than cover up for my dessert appetite.
Finished off with Peanut Butter Milkshake, To down the alcohol effect a little bit...

Read more🧿 145 is till date the best cafe bar that I have ever visited that has been serving high-quality and pocket-friendly North Indian, Chinese, Finger and fast foods in Bandra, Kala ghoda, Kamala Mills and Andheri! 145 is one of that place which is well-known for its increase in footfall rate as the night progresses because genuinely the nightlife here is candidly the besssstttt that I have experienced, so I would recommend everyone to pre-book a table to avoid and kind of circumstances.
🧿 The atmosphere here is quite lively and vibrant and gets more enthusiastic frontwards as the night goes! This place is spread out throughout and appears to be quite spacious with enough space between two tables. The main emphasis point was its prodigious size bar decorated with fancy lights and bulbs and liquor bottle to give an eye-catchy look.
🧿 The restaurant also offers something to the guest to entertain themselves. So they have a huge book shelf with number of interesting books to read, a snooker table to hangout with friends on chargeable basis and old clips of our very own favorite Tom and Jerry cartoon playing on tv and obviously a dance floor with rocking music played by the dj, while you wait for the food dishes and beverages to get prepared and come to the table.
The drinks and dishes we ordered were:-
🧿 FREAKSHAKES:- [Ferrero Rocher & Brownie Waffle]
If you are visiting any 145 outlet in Mumbai, then you cannot miss out from having their signature freakshake because 145 is very well known for their freakshakes and honesty they give real justice to the term 'freakshakes'. The shake is presented beautifully and it looks really really eye-appealing when it approaches the table. Grace marks for presentation! The glass was filled with the actually milkshake, then the rim was covered with a brittle layer of white chocolate biscuit and over it a good-hearty amount of whipped cream was placed with heart shaped biscuits which were coated with chocolate sauce and rainbow minis and chocolate cigar rolls at the peak. Also the glass was embellished with colourful gems near the rim of the glass. You'll get a clear picture of it by looking at the photo. Super refreshing, super delicious, and super-duper heavy with perfect consistency and texture! For sure your tummy would be half filled after completely finishing it and so order the rest of the dishes carefully. " Highly Recommended"
🧿 VEG KHOW SUEY:- Star! Star! Star! Star! This was the absolute star main dish of the entire night's meal I must way! So basically khow suey is Burmese delicacy originating from Burma, more likely called as a noodle soup. Khow suey is more or less similar to the Peranakan 'Laksa' dish. Exotic veggies were cooked in velvety rich coconut milk curry with boiled noodles in it. The curry was mesmerizing, like splendid! The curry was ideal in consistency, very rich in appearance and taste as well and very much delicious. Speaking of contain for Instagram stories, this soup comes along with seven different condiments on side, which by adding into the soup enhances it's taste even more. The seven condiments includes- Crushed peanuts, Fried garlic, Fried onions, Crispy noodles, Spring onion chops, Cilantro and Lemon wedges. " Highly Recommended "
🧿 Overall had a stupendous experience dining in this Cafe bar and will immensely recommend to all to enjoy the place with its heart-pleasing nightlife scene! It's not everyday where you get a chance to have such delicious food and magnificent dessert and freakshakes, so do visit 145 andheri as soon as possible!
