Food was strictly below average. Nothing great. Atleast it isn't good enough to make me visit this place again. Had some sizzler which was bland, just some rice n noodles with chicken kept on a sizzling plate. Not worth it for sure. In starters Cheesy chicken was good though. Sizzling brownie with ice cream wasnt great either. Service was extremely basic. I ordered a starter and told the waiter, will give you the rest of my order in a while. He went in. Returned again and I gave him the rest of my order. I was done with the order and then my wife was like, order the sizzler too, so I told the waiter, I want to order a sizzler too. So he was like " Sab ek saath dena order" . He was offended that I ordered the starter first. Then the main course later, poor fellow had to walk a few steps more due to me. If Sahibaan is reading this, please apologize to the waiter on my behalf and let him know that he won't have to bear a customer like me again as I won't ve visiting such a restaurant again. Roadside eatery on the busy junction of Turner Road and Ambedkar Road, this place has been around for ages. The main description says Chinese - I am perfectly ok with Indian ‘rasta’ Chinese but according to me, sizzlers - grilled meat (and Indianised vegetarian version with paneer) with vegetables on a hot plate - don’t quite fit into a Chinese description... anyhow, we found the food really terrible.... everything red with Schezuan sauce (an Indian invention!) doesn’t make it Chinese. The crabmeat soup was full of chili and black pepper, Malaysian noodles were bright orange and tasteless, mixed pot rice had an overdose of what tasted like curry sauce.... came away and with hungry stomachs (and heavy hearts at leaving so much food, so we got it parcelled and gave it away to some hungry souls at the traffic lights).
