The Bomanji Dinshaw Petit Parsee General Hospital is a boon for Parsis for more than a hundred years. The Late Mr. B. D. Petit was a hotelier and businessman who willingly and voluntarily donated his land which he owned to build a hospital for Parsis Iranis only. Set in South Mumbai which is an important and a very convenient location, it's a God's gift to the Parsees and Iranis. Nestled off Breach Candy road, it's very conveniently located in Cumballa Hill. It has lots of greenery and trees of various types in its huge compound or very large complex/campus. The hospital facilities are good on the whole and the staff is helpful on the whole though it can be improved. It requires a boost now and lots of donations or funds to run by it's own trust, to buy the latest medical equipments, machines, latest software, gadgets and technologies. One can hear the sound of chirping of birds. The gardens and greenery around the hospital are well maintained. The hospital rooms are huge, wide, spacious with very high ceilings in most of the rooms as its an old, refurbished stone heritage buildings complex. It's already under restoration and renovations as gradually the normal functioning of the hospital goes by. It has a large and an experienced team of good Doctors and Professional staff. It's cheaper as compared with other hospitals in that locality or...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn 18th June 2021 I went to Parsi General Hospital for my 1st dose Covishield vaccine. I was truly impressed with the way the entire process was undertaken - seamless and so well managed. I reached the Hospital at 8.30am and by exactly 8.58am I was vaccinated and seated in the wait area with a hot cup of tea given by the kind and hardworking staff. I wish to commend not only all the frontline workers, and the Team involved in this vaccination drive, but those nameless, silent faces of the Security, pantry boy and help staff all of whom went out of their way to help each and every person with courtesy, a big smile and the most polite demeanor. A Salute and Kudos to you all. I thank you very much and hope many people get to experience the wonder that is Parsi...

From entrance go up the set of stairs ,then left ,then first right straight to the lift.. Corridors are old and quaint. Lifts are shuttered ones . On the 2nd floor to the right and first left u sit in queue.. Then you r called to the room opposite . All this takes at...
