Old #Irani Cafe charm with a modern twist in Plate And Pint Very smart and trendy Interiors.. Every corner has been properly utilised & glorified.. Big glass windows, covered with money plants, bright classic black and white flooring. Extremely neat & clean.. A very popular place, on a Tuesday evening, I found almost all the tables are full.. Excellent team of staffs In the entrance, a counter dedicated for cakes, pastries, beards & more for take away .

Old western classics were playing in the background.. Very romantic ambiance Fresh fruit juices - Fresh juices without any chemicals or sugar. Vegan Green goodes Guava ginger Watermelon chia Totally my kind of drinks ❤ I tried few of their signature dishes for starters.. Peri Peri rawas fingers with Peri Peri dip - very tasty, crunchy coating with fresh fish fry.. Wasabi prawns with pineapple salsa - it was awesome, 2/3 big size prawns are marinated in wasabi sauce & deep fried in beer batter. Pineapple salsa has added more taste in this dish..

Chicken ham Benedict - a classic dish, prepared & presented perfectly with butter sauce, potatoes, sauted tomato & butter.

Korean Bibmbap - I've never enjoyed a salad so much, as this dish... Bit of rice, boneless spicy chicken small pieces, blanched & buttered spinach with mixed salad, served with an awesome white sesame seeds based sweet chilli sauce.. A must try to enjoy the beauty of Korean cuisine..

For Main course, I've chosen three dishes & were really superb in preparation & taste..

Lamb Lazarus - minced mildly spiced lamb big patty cooked & served with a very mild creamy gravy, with in-house prepared crunchy toast ..

Carnivore pizza - a signature dish, very thin crust pizza base, topping is overloaded with mildly spicy non -veg topping of chicken mutton & many more ingredients..

Garlic prawn sizzler - a lovely creation of classic sizzler.. Big prawns tossed with garlic, served on sizzler tray with buttery smashed potato, cheese, more cheese sauce poured on it.. Set the mood of the romantic dinner.. Desserts were classic beauties ... Tiramisu - liquor dipped soft cake layered with soft cream with a touch of coffee, garnished with fresh mint leaves... Creme Brule - an ultimate art of presentation, with crunchy cover, soft yummy strawberry based dessert... And Strawberry truffle and Raspberry truffle I tried few signature sweets, from the counter.. Plate & Pint - South Bombay, This is for you. This comes at the same place where Tulip's restaurant used to be. Breach Candy (Kemps Corner) to be precise. It's out and out a Cafe Bistro which some good spacious interiors. The Chef cum Owner has done her IHM and Passed out from le cordon Bleu. Much Spacious then before with a sitting of appox 55/60. Serves Wine. As far as food goes they start early 8.30 All Day Breakfast.

Menu consists of Waffles/Pancakes/Soup/Appetizers/Salad/Mains/Pasta/Pizza/desserts. However each section the menu is conceived. Overall it's crisp. Signature dishes from Tulip's restaurant are been retained in this menu.

Started with some Wine and FALAFEL BOWL - Neatly presented. Mixed lettuce with a hint of lemon dressing, crispy. Falafel subtle in taste but a bit hard. Can be better. Tabuleh was up to the mark but somehow in India we always miss the punch. Hummus made well. Tzatziki made well. A minor flaw (falafel) besides that a good dish. Served with Mini Pita (they have their own Bakery) and a couple of cherry tomatoes.

Sriracha Corn Rock - this was good. Hit of Sriracha was just perfect (with mayo) Parmesan and micro greens. Crunchy at the same time balanced well. Vegetarians delight. Recommend.

Wasabi Prawns - Medium prawns tempura tossed with Wasabi mayo. Topped with a bit of pineapple salsa. Wasabi all the way. A bit strong. Some may not like it but that's the way it's made. A bit disappointed as the dish became a big soggy. (Chef look into it) Simple dish, presented well. Garnish of micro greens.

Wild Mushroom Focaccia - Lovely dish. Focaccia bread cut topped with shredded Shitake/Button mushrooms which were tossed in cream and a bit of cheese. Missed the Feta punch. Had the crispiness. Crunchy/Gooey. Mushroom lovers - go for it. Neatly presented.

Lamb Lasagne - Killer of a dish. Layered lamb mix with homemade pasta sheets. Oven Baked Lovely balance of herbs/Aroma and spices. Lovely texture to the dish. Tomato and basil Caulis was done well . Topped with cheese and served with garlic bread. Meal by itself. This is their signature dish retained from their previous menu.

Pan Cake - Wooh!! Don't need to say more. Just have this. It's made to perfection. No need of going to any other place. Light Fluffy with maple some whipped cream and icing sugar. Anytime for this.

Pizza - Pepperoni, takes about 15 minutes as make it fresh. Dough in house. Don't expect the crisp crust. Pick up fold and eat. Tasted good. Nicely done. Go for it. A mix of cheddar/mozzarella. Nice sheen.

Dessert - Tiramisu could have come close to the best I have had. Just missed out on the Punch. Maybe less of coffee and the sponge. Texture/Presentation was perfect. A slight hit of Kalhua. But a must try dessert.

Overall - Perfect place to hand out/Chill over a wine and some good food. Sobo, u are in for a treat. Service is fast. Overall a place worth a...

No better place near Kemps Corner than this for an elaborate fancy breakfast! With the owners being Parsis, this place is a boulangerie, restaurant, cafe all rolled into one. We tried this restaurant out for breakfast and boy we were floored by how good the food was. When you enter, a fully loaded boulangerie greets you with fresh bakes of breads, quiches, cakes, croissants and the works and in you go for a dining experience. The tall ceiling and old world feel is very visible all over. The staff is very friendly and will take you through the menu and even guide you what best will suit your palate. What we had: Guacamole On Toast: We always wonder how something so simple can end up tasting so good but the thing with Avocado is, you can go wrong if you use it properly. And the guacamole made here was so creamy and delicious on a perfectly toasted slice of bread that we couldn't stop eating. Even the beetroot hummus layer added another facet to the taste. Spinach and Cheese Vol Au Vent: Our favourite combo of Spinach and Cheese inside delicious puff pastry. Very hard to not like. Paneer Bhurji with Pita Crisps: This bhurji was to die for and we totally enjoyed it. Paneer Bhurji Cheese Pull Apart: The bhurji was soooo good that we had to call another item with the same filling. Also this time it was a cheese pull apart and we totally loved it! Loaded by so worth it! Double Chocolate and Oreo Waffle: This one was the best of the lot. Not much of a sweet tooth but this one totally knocked our socks off. Never eaten anything so decadent! Guava and Ginger Juice: Very zestful and refreshing! Watermelon and Guava Juice: Went soo well with our food! Plate and Pint was a hugely pleasant surprise so close to home that we've already made plans of another visit to this place probably this time for lunch or dinner!

Plate and Pint is an eggcellent choice for Sunday brunch. The facade is small but it's way more spacious inside. About 12 tables at least. The bakery stacks up some delicious cakes, breads and savories and has been consistently awesome since a decade. Love the chicken pasty and the death by chocolate cake. The ambiance is alive and gorgeous with a lot of greens everywhere (these are fake greens but still lovely). The host Mr. Savio was chirpy, attentive and gave us some amazing recommendations. Food wise : 1. P&P breakfast : omg. Real filling. Comes with 2 eggs, you choose omelet, burji, sunny side up etc. Sausage, baked beans and 2 hash browns and a coffee or tea. 4/5 2. Nutella snores waffle : you get 4 waffle triangles. Pleasantly surprised that the base Waffle was so great. Generous cream and smores serving 4.5/5 3. Guacamole on toast : their signature dish. This came with beetroot hummus. Super combination of healthy food that tastes GREAT. The presentation gets full marks too 4.5/5 4. Oreo milkshake : Absolutely brilliant, must have if you're a chocolate fan. Loved everything about this 5/5 5. Salted caramel latte : sounded exotic so tried it out. It was a little too sweet for my liking and the flavor was confusing 3/5 6. Sautéed Mushroom side : nice big button mushrooms, albeit a little salty. This was not an issue as I promptly got a replacement, which was perfect 4/5 Note : the restaurant opens up for breakfast at 830am but the valet arrives at 9am. All in all my young cousin and I enjoyed our visit to P&P and we're so glad we accepted the invite. The cost for 2 is about 1.2k for an elaborate Sunday brunch. The kind that would keep you full till dinner, which you would really miss on weekdays.

No better place near Kemps Corner than this for an elaborate fancy breakfast! With the owners being Parsis, this place is a boulangerie, restaurant, cafe all rolled into one. We tried this restaurant out for breakfast and boy we were floored by how good the food was. When you enter, a fully loaded boulangerie greets you with fresh bakes of breads, quiches, cakes, croissants and the works and in you go for a dining experience. The tall ceiling and old world feel is very visible all over. The staff is very friendly and will take you through the menu and even guide you what best will suit your palate. What we had: Guacamole On Toast: We always wonder how something so simple can end up tasting so good but the thing with Avocado is, you can go wrong if you use it properly. And the guacamole made here was so creamy and delicious on a perfectly toasted slice of bread that we couldn't stop eating. Even the beetroot hummus layer added another facet to the taste. Spinach and Cheese Vol Au Vent: Our favourite combo of Spinach and Cheese inside delicious puff pastry. Very hard to not like. Paneer Bhurji with Pita Crisps: This bhurji was to die for and we totally enjoyed it. Paneer Bhurji Cheese Pull Apart: The bhurji was soooo good that we had to call another item with the same filling. Also this time it was a cheese pull apart and we totally loved it! Loaded by so worth it! Double Chocolate and Oreo Waffle: This one was the best of the lot. Not much of a sweet tooth but this one totally knocked our socks off. Never eaten anything so decadent! Guava and Ginger Juice: Very zestful and refreshing! Watermelon and Guava Juice: Went soo well with our food! Plate and Pint was a hugely pleasant surprise so close to home that we've already made plans of another visit to this place probably this time for lunch or dinner!

Plate and Pint is an eggcellent choice for Sunday brunch. The facade is small but it's way more spacious inside. About 12 tables at least. The bakery stacks up some delicious cakes, breads and savories and has been consistently awesome since a decade. Love the chicken pasty and the death by chocolate cake. The ambiance is alive and gorgeous with a lot of greens everywhere (these are fake greens but still lovely). The host Mr. Savio was chirpy, attentive and gave us some amazing recommendations. Food wise : 1. P&P breakfast : omg. Real filling. Comes with 2 eggs, you choose omelet, burji, sunny side up etc. Sausage, baked beans and 2 hash browns and a coffee or tea. 4/5 2. Nutella snores waffle : you get 4 waffle triangles. Pleasantly surprised that the base Waffle was so great. Generous cream and smores serving 4.5/5 3. Guacamole on toast : their signature dish. This came with beetroot hummus. Super combination of healthy food that tastes GREAT. The presentation gets full marks too 4.5/5 4. Oreo milkshake : Absolutely brilliant, must have if you're a chocolate fan. Loved everything about this 5/5 5. Salted caramel latte : sounded exotic so tried it out. It was a little too sweet for my liking and the flavor was confusing 3/5 6. Sautéed Mushroom side : nice big button mushrooms, albeit a little salty. This was not an issue as I promptly got a replacement, which was perfect 4/5 Note : the restaurant opens up for breakfast at 830am but the valet arrives at 9am. All in all my young cousin and I enjoyed our visit to P&P and we're so glad we accepted the invite. The cost for 2 is about 1.2k for an elaborate Sunday brunch. The kind that would keep you full till dinner, which you would really miss on weekdays.
